Spent a fantastic relaxing week at Bakkhos in May 2013 and highly recommend it. Loved our room with its own terrace, the beautiful gardens, super clean swimming pool, best of all loved breakfast outside and the communal dinners sitting in the fabulous dining room getting to know the other guests whilst being served authentic Turkish cuisine by the smiling friendly...

We chose Bakkhos Guesthouse first of all because we wanted to stay close to Ephesus but not in a busy seaside resort like Kusadasi itself. Bakkhos Guesthouse is in the countryside and seemed the right choice. Maybe it is not the easiest place to find the first time, possibly as there were at the time of our arrival major road...

Thank you very much! Yes the road behind the city of Kusadasi is still under construction and coming in from Izmir there is no road sign telling where Kirazli village is, so I have to send every guest by email a good instruction. The other side , coming in from Selcuk=Camlik is over teh countryside is perhaps better to choose....

We spent nearly 3 weeks in Germany before traveling first to Istanbul and then to the Ionian coast. Bakkhos was an island of quiet, caring and efficient service -- tucked away in the countryside. It is NOT easy to get to -- but the proprietor, Manuela, is fast qith emails, provides tons and tons of helpful info (including directions, of...

We were a bit concerned when we arrived late at night as to where the taxi driver was taking us. It is a bit out of town but the local buses make it very easy to commute into town. We stayed here for 4 nights. The gardens and pool areas are really lovely with lots of private spots to sit...

Thank you for your review.Bakkhos guesthouse is built authentic, so with one summer stone walls, typical for here and other Mediterrean areas. We tell our guests friendly in our welcome letter saying that we are located in this verandah setting and be aware ot that, not to make too much noice to eachother. Bakkhos guesthouse is a hotel-system not a...

Bakkhos is a real gem in the countryside. The accommodation is excellent, the grounds are beautifully set out with lots of secluded private spaces, the pool is great and the overall design is a triumph. The breakfast and communal meals, which feature great local cuisine, are generous and Manuela and her staff are extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The communal...

I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did. Yes, it's off the beaten path, but that's part of its charm. The rooms are adorable, all of the little paths and alcoves make you feel like you're on an island, community dinner in the "white room" was over the top - loved this place. Also the staff...

Yes, Bakkhos is a little difficult to find as it is not situated on a mainroad. But from the mainroad right handsided in the hills on a country side road going "inland " to Kirazli village. It is only 3.5 kms away from the mainroad behind Kusadasi Our web site gives good explanation, on Google Earth we are good mentioned....

We stayed at Bakkhos Guest House back in April, and really enjoyed our time here. Bakkhos comprises a number of isolated guest wings, a beautiful indoor dining room and separate outdoor dining areas, all set amongst beautiful gardens with a sparkling pool, and not a neighbouring building in sight. When you arrive at Bakkhos you notice the quiteness, the beautifull environment while you are so close to Kusadasi. The next thing you experience is the warm welcome by the Bakkhos staff, for instance Mutlu, or the owner Manuela. A path leads you through the garden, lucious plants and trees, to the rooms. The rooms are very 'homely' with good...
