The food here was exceptional: best lamb we ate in all of Turkey. The owner was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean with a very pleasant ambience. It is very close to the site of Priene. The name of the restaurant is the Cafe Bistro. We looked at one of the pension rooms and it was very clean....

I don't give negative reviews lightly but this place was the worst we stayed in during 4 weeks in Turkey. We were charged 120TL for a small, shabby room. The shower was mouldy and seriously in need of a clean. The sheets were badly stained and did not appear to have been washed (we slept in our sleeping bag liners)....

Although the room could certainly have used a decent clean, we did sleep well, irrespective of the amplified call to prayer from the mosque approximately 40 metres away. Good location, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Could be tidier and cleaner.
