excellent hotel, mixed age range, super friendly staff, this is the first hotel I really felt at home, the bar is brill with an extrovert barman, had great fun every evening , rooms a little small but didn't mind as we didn't stay in our room, the manager is top class was even at breakfast supervising, it felt like a... 4 of us stayed here (2 couples) and had a wonderful time, thankyou to all staff who made our stay what it was, the cleaners for decorating our room with petals when it was my husbands 50th birthday and making our room spotless to come back to, (We stayed in the superior rooms which I gather from talking to other... First the Negatives....Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2.Sunbeds around the pool very close together and on some days insufficient.Standard rooms dreadfully small and shabby so upgraded to a deluxe on arrival, which was better but definitely not deluxe. Some of the electrical fittings left a lot to be desired! Beds rock hard and pillows even worse.Extremelly noisey... More

What a great hotel if you want to completely chill out, all staff are very attentive but not in your face. Pumpkin at the pool bar is very entertaining with cheerful banter. Had a really great stay only wish it was longer !

Had a very nice stay in the main due the dedication and very good service offered by the staff. It's a nice hotel but it's at the point in its life when it need some money spent on the rooms which are in need of a refit especially the bathrooms. Otherwise clean and ok, noise can be a problem BBQ... More

We stayed for two weeks in July 2012. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The pool is great, lots of sunbeds plus sofas and shaded corners to chill out. The food is fine - don't miss the barbecue - but the restaurants in Kalkan are so good you'll probably want to go into town to... More

We stayed at Elixir for 5 days this time, and this has been our second stay. Everything was just great. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very homey. On our third night my friend git sick and needed medication. One of the hotel personnel took her by car in search of a pharmacy and they... More

A very friendly reception straight from the start, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very friendly and the manager was amazing and always so hands on from breakfast until bed time. The hotel was clean and the standard rooms have the essentials, the superior rooms have far more space and a few luxuries (so we would get one... More

Friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. The rooms are small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are excellent, very attentive and hospitable with a good sense of humour. We enjoyed our time by the pool and at the bar.

We stayed here for a week at the end of June this year. We had a brilliant week, made even more special by the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager Egerman and the staff, particularly Cezare (Pumpkin). They were extremely welcoming and provided a friendly atmosphere during our daily afternoon cocktails (Pumpkin makes a great Bloody Mary!), where they made... More
