Found this Hotel through Agonda. It's in a quiet area but only minutes away from the big streets. The staff are friendly and they do have a little selection of food, if you don't feel like going out and they have toiletries for purchase of you forgot to pack yours. The room is nice and clean. They also have a hot shower option and yes flushing toilets as well.😁👍

The price was good because it was cheap. Although it was clean and modern, the staff were not interested in looking after the guests which let it down a lot. If that was to improve then it would get a lot better reviews.

The hardware of this hotel is fine. Our triple room was large, the wifi was good, and the beds comfortable.

What stops this hotel from scoring higher however, is the staff. Although some were helpful, others were quite rude. So rude in fact, it was almost funny at times. The most friendly 'staff member' was the woman running a food stall at the front entrance.

The location of the hotel is a little isolated but not so bad once you get the hang of the neighbourhood.

However, I would not recommend this hotel all in all.

Xenophobic Hotel, foreigners not allowed.
My wife went in to hear if they had a room while I waited in the car. They did, so my wife came out to get me to have a look at the room. As soon as I stepped inside the hotel, the receptionist told my wife they did not allow foreigners. Probably afraid of Covid-19, which she should be, but why single people out based on race?

I have been in Thailand for 10 years and have not even been outside Udon Thani for over a year or so, yet she accepts Thai travelers coming from virus infected Bangkok and elsewhere?

Very shortsighted and prejudice.

All she had to do was to ask where I had been lately, or is she so xenophobic or racist that she couldn't even be bothered to ask?

Gladly, I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else in Thailand.
Udon Thani have several good hotels. Go there, anywhere, just not here.

Clean rooms but the staff don´t seem to care to much for the guests.
Well the room have all the basic but an empty minibar. All seem a little used and if the place get an make over it will sure help to upgrade the place. Not easy for a stranger to find the place. But in case you like to live near the local than this is ok for a short time.
A little expensive price for a room where I didnt feel so relaxed in. Very noisy next door, not in center of town but a Tuk-Tuk cost me 60-70 Bath to Udon Thani centrum

This is an amazing hotel. It is pretty close to the central market and the mall. The "baht bus" runs right in front and will take you to town for 10 baht, there is laundry next door, little bars, street food, everything. It's close enough to the city center that it's very convenient, but located 2km or so away so in a neighborhood that isn't so noisy.

I spent one night here on November 5, 2014. Although it is located down a quiet street in a seemingly unexpected location, this hotel was great. It was very clean, modern, quiet and had good wi-fi. There was a small private balcony on the room and a small store directly across the street. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Pros:
- The hotel gives good value for the money.
- Room is big, clean, and new with good design.
- Good security staff (not so much for the reception).
- Enough parking space.
- Free wifi with strong signal.
- Free hot drink in hall area.

Cons:
- The hotel located in the deep soi (small street) and difficult to find. No public transportation pass. Need to have own transportation or get there by taxi or tuk-tuk.
- Breakfast is not included and no restaurants nearby.
- Reception is not very friendly.
- Bathroom does not separate wet and dry area well. Also there was a draining problem when we were staying.
- AC was loud.
- No luggage helps.
- A chair in a room not comfortable for sitting a long time.

Le' Luxe gives a good value for the money. The room and building looks like it could be more expensive place. It is difficult to find not convenience for travelers with no vehicles. If you have your own transportation, it only takes 5 minutes to get to shopping center like UD town, Central plaza, etc. and easy to exit out on the bypass road.

Spent a few nights here and was very glad I was here & not elsewhere.
Loved the modern hotel, great room, linen, bathroom, bed, wifi, flat tv. Everything is quite new. All staff were excellent - but I've got a crush on the receptionist... Nah, all very good.
Now, the location.......
Well... It's a long way out. Quite long.
But, I enjoy walking, I enjoy walking amongst locals and seeing a locals town/environment.
It's a cute quite street. I'd then cross a main road, and walk down a cute lane and past a pretty Wat. And then, you come to a pretty park with a lake, exercise equipment and tons of locals around 4:30 - 5, lounging, chatting, eating, picnicking, and smiling at me...... Then a couple minutes later I'd walk past a glorious, stunning super flash new Chinese thing place whatever... Very pretty. I'd then turn right down another pretty street leading to the train tracks. I'd often stop by a large framed mature lady who had a tiny handmade shop against the fence in her lovely old front yard for some fruit. I'd then cross the tracks and bang, a McDonalds and beside that is a huge huge huge pretty outdoor/indoor modern shopping mall & marketplace that really gets going at dusk & into the night - even with live performances. Then alongside that is a huge beer hall undercover with lots of cheap eateries... So good. Mostly locals always friendly. Cheap cheap food.
Around the corner is then massive new modern ritzy Bangkok Sukhumvit area style shopping centre. I did check out maybe 10 places to stay around this shopping centre. They all seemed to cater for males with shaved heads and lots n lots of arm tattoos, and their accompanying make-my-skin-crawl seedy smiling bar lady types. The shopping centre and streets around here catered for this type of traveller, so I was happy to stay away. Many many massage parlours and beer places with more bald old guys smooching bar girls .... Eewwwwww......Only a couple of Thai families stayed at Le Lux... I can't stay where tattooed guys and bar girls stay... But, they may come in time.....It was very dark coming back, I enjoyed the adventure with my iPhone light to cross the train tracks, or, twice I walked around McDonalds along the main roads back to the hotel..... Not as interesting. A tuk tuk to / from the hotel into the centre of town was between 40 & 60 baht each way. Great modern quiet hotel.
