I had no problems here. The room was clean and quiet. The balcony was nice and the decor pleasant. The staff were always available. Shampoo and soap dispensers were in the shower, but there was no separate hand soap. The parking lot was ample and easy to navigate (I was in a rental car) and Google maps led me to within one house away. The entrance is on a narrow side street. Lots of trees in the area. The surrounding neighborhood is very local. The nearby Wat was under construction.

The hotel felt a bit ghost-town-like. The pandemic has taken its toll on hotels and you can feel it when traveling here. They still provided hot breakfast and I also ordered dinner here. Neither were particularly ample or delicious but they were good enough. No complaints.

Total length of stay 18 nights.
Eight nights in a Deluxe Room, followed by ten in a mini suite.
There is plenty of good news about this Chinese/Thai owned hotel.
It still feels new, rooms are comfortable and spacious, the beds are not rock hard (unlike Centara and Grand Siam Hotels).

The location is awkward but we hired a pick-up.

Breakfast is great for Thai's but just ok for Westerners, no serial or bacon.

Room service is good quality and a fair price.

English is not understood well.

Hand towels are not provided. Rooms have two flannels and two bath towels. If you request an extra towel it comes with a 50 baht fee.

Without the towel charge the hotel would merit four stars.

Would we stay again? Yes, definitely.

I only stayed for one night and I booked for a suite. The rooms are big and had good air conditioning. The service is basic whereas they couldn’t speak much English. The price is reasonable and we got a lovely house keeper that looked after our washing for us too.
Lots of restaurants near by which is helpful. Will come again next year for 2-3 days.

The hotel is nice as its big room, friendly price, and many parking lots. However, two things have to be reminded.

One is the hotel is not that close to the airport. Even it seems to us when looking at a map that the hotel is just behind, or next to, the airport. But the fact is there is no road that connects the hotel with the airport. So, you need a detour road, which take about 5 km. to arrive.

The second thing is the hotel is located deep in a small street, so you impossibly see the hotel from the main road. There is a small sign indicates which street leads to the hotel, so you must be very careful.

All in all, considering the room size and all the equipments provided, it is still a nice hotel to stay for a short visit especailly when you do not expect to travel downtown a lot.

The hotel itself-- rooms, beds, loby, etc, were better than one would expect for the price. In fact, quite a bit better. On the other hand the romoteness and lack of anything worth looking at or interacting with in walkiing distance makes the place a bust unless you're willing to shell out for regular tuk tuk's (which washes the cheap benefit). So, If you need a place to sleep, this place is good. But if you want to explore Udon, nah.

Kitlada Hotel is a new hotel and just open recently, Here is high quality of room which modern decoration eg. touch screen lighting swich. Inside room be broad, cleanliness and luxurious like five star hotel but inexpensive price. This is a small to medium size hotel and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. I would rate these rooms better than the Centara both on value and overall quality. The only thing that takes it down a notch is the location. Its not far from the main shopping centre in Udon Thani but its in a back street so can be a little difficult unless you know your way around.

Visited Udorn with a group of friends and family. Got 4 rooms at about 800 b each.
Pros:
Clean large room
Bed was comfortable, not a rock like some in Thailand.
Fast wifi, AP in room.
Hot shower with good pressure.
Qtips, shower cap, hair dryer.
Breakfast good mix of western and Thai ( better than others have commented on), great black coffee!!
AC in room large, quiet, and cool.
Cons:
Bit off the beaten path, could also be a good thing too, very quiet.
Bathroom a bit small
Looked like fire alarm was turned off and construction cap still on sprinkler head(Ok I am a Fire Safety Engineer), this is Thailand though.
Only a couple on non-thai channels on tv.
Overall:
Great value for what you pay, would definitely stay again.
