Located in a great location, 5 minute walk from the central bus station as well as the enormous and very impressive central plaza mall. Lots of food options around and a big 7 Eleven, as well as an ATM right next door. In addition, there is a supermarket right across the street. It's a 25 minute car ride from the airport (80 baht / per person for "limo" van or 200 baht / taxi). You get dropped off right in front of the hotel. There is a great map available at the airport, which has this hotel marked on it (very useful when showing it to the driver). The hotel is nice, clean and well taken care of. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom. Large bed, big fridge, cold AC and hot shower. Everything was very clean and in great shape. For the price, this value can't be beat. Definitely worth staying there and the local bus station (super close, see above) is the perfect jump off point to enter Laos. When staying in Udon Thani, we highly recommended you stay here.

The location was excellent--easy walking distance to the bus station, train station, Central Plaza, expat area, restaurants, and bars. The room is spacious and adequately clean with a shower separated by a curtain. Two windows provide adequate light but not much of a view. The large refrigerator is Cold! Over the six days that a stayed there, the wifi worked well--Except for a 7-hour hiatus one day. I am still not sure whether it was a problem with the ISP or within the hotel. Not much English is spoken but the staff tried to indicate that it was not their fault. Also, there is a constant beeping now and then that is mostly not too loud. There must be a work project going on nearby. In spite of this and the internet problem, it was not a bad stay and the price for location is enticing.

This hotel was a great find with friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is in an excellent location near the Central Plaza and Central Bus Station and not far from UD Town and bar areas. However, it is still a quiet location. There is a large 7/11 next door for whatever essentials you may need. The rooms and common areas are cleaned everyday and I saw the housekeeper scrubbing the floors by hand. The room includes a walk-in closet, free tea/coffee, 2 free bottles of water, a kettle and free toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and large. The TV has many channels with some English ones also and I had no problem with the WIFI when I was staying. The room offers a good view of street and there is also a small balcony with some chairs.

Even I was travelling alone, I think the room would also be more than adequate for a couple. For 550THB, it represents a real bargain. I would recommend booking in advance because I wanted to stay longer but had to move to another hotel because it was booked out. I have seen the hotel recorded as a 2-star, but in my experience it is at least a 3-star. Next time I'm back in Udon Thani, I will definitely stay there again.

It was clean. Good wi fi. The staff were very friendly. I was comfortable there. Walking to a lot of places to eat. Not that much to say except I am glad I chose this place. They helped find a good taxi.

Agree with other reviewers .. Can't beat the location, just up from Central Plaza, quick hop to the airport, or train station, and if you're keen on the night life, what there is of it is just down the road.
Also massive night market by the train station...
Rooms are nice, basic but well scrubbed and sparkling, the lady at the front desk, her english isn't great but the manager is super nice and her english is good.
My tip is to ask for a room at the back, like any floor but numbered, say like 310 or 413, as it is off the road and there can be a fair bit of road noise. Otherwise a very quiet hotel room.
Next to the hotel there is a Amazon coffee and 7/11 in the petrol station, if you don't care for the free coffee in the room...
Showers are actually hot, the television has limited channels, but wifi is strong (and free!)
And the bed and pillows were excellent ..
Happy to book again next time I have to come up to Udon...!

This hotel is very well positioned being just a short walk from central plaza and UD Town. At 550 baht a night it represents exceptionally good value. The rooms are very, very clean, they are tended every day, I've honestly never stayed in a hotel in Thailand that is this clean. There are coffee making facilities in the room, you are given free bottled water, free hand soap and shampoo and lovely fresh smelling towels which are changed every day. Add the flat screen tv, air conditioning, fridge and free wireless internet and you begin to realise what great value this place is. The only downside is the view from the room, we overlook an ugly building next door, but, that really is the only downside to this place. Definitely worth considering if you are staying in Udon Thani.

This is a solid 3.5 star hotel. Location is the best you can get... 1 minute walk to the beautiful modern shopping mall. 2 minute walk to the outdoor shopping and food market.

The hotel is new, very clean, excellent security to remove any worries. Very nice staff. Best of all it cost only $24.

Right outside the door you have many restaurants, massage, markets. The shopping mall is as good as any in America. The mall has Starbucks and McDonalds and a food court with many foods to choose from.

I will stay here every trip to Udon Thani because of the excellent location, low cost, clean room.

value-wise (i'm talking about the hotel here!!!), i wouldn't hesitate and pick The One... I would question the cleanliness of the other guest friendly Udon hotels...
