I booked a double superior room with breakfast at the Paradise hotel for a night out in Udon Thani in December 2019.

The hotel is tucked away down a quiet side road and was roughly a 5 minute tuk tuk drive away from the mall and the main bar area. There is ample parking at the premises and first impressions were that it was a little older looking than the internet pictures but not bad. Check in was very swift and within 5 minutes we were in our room. I have to say that the room was quite stylish, better than expected for the price and with a small balcony over looking a neat pool. The reason I knocked a star off my review scoring was that unfortunately although the hotel says 'no smoking rooms' the room smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Room servicing must have noticed this and actions such as washing the curtains should have been taken. That said although we weren't impressed It didn't ruin our stay and I would book this hotel again but would inspect the room first! Other facilities at the hotel included a gym and a bar which looked very inviting with a pianist playing but we didn't get a chance to sample a drink there. The breakfast was simple and freshly cooked. I had my favourite basil chicken, fried egg and rice with coffee and it was of a good standard.

All of the staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. We paid a very good rate for the Paradise hotel and it is a good budget choice for the city!

Nice local hotel which lack maintenance, trapped in the 90s but I like it for its charms. It does have that Centara Hua Hin vibes but of a bygone era. Beside that, the staff are friendly and the food Aroy.

The room are nice and comfortable, but my standard room bathroom is small and easily flooded, the family suite are bigger and better.
It is located close to city centre, Central Plaza is just a walk away.

Recommended to stay here for a night or 2.

We had only booked one night by Agoda and booked one more night after firs day. All in The Paradise Hotel is so friendly and help with all you can imagine. The pool area is cosy and quiet and rooms also very nice and clean. We will like to come back as soon we are in Udao again.
Keep up as you are :-)

Four of us shared a family room just for one night and we were really impressed. The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but once you step inside it’s a different scene. Our room was really large with a magnificent king bed and two king singles. The bed was among the most comfortable I have enjoyed over the years.

There was a large lounge to relax on as well as a big flat screen tv. Also tea and coffee facilities. We ordered room service for dinner and it was good quality food at a reasonable price.

The bathroom was large, with two showers and two basins as well as one toilet. Well you wouldn’t want to go to the toilet as a couple would you?

Our booking included free breakfast (no doubt added into the room price) but it was very good. A nice variety of dishes, Thai of course plus some western items. It is served near the outdoor pool in a nice relaxing environment.

We also had a free shuttle to pick us up from the airport, about 10 minutes away, and we had no trouble finding our driver, who was extremely courteous and delivered all of our luggage direct to our room. The desk staff were also very friendly and obliging.

Overall I was very pleased with our stay and honestly I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
I will certainly stay here again.

I've stayed here many times during the last years. I'm happy so see that in spite of the tough times or the hotel industry they manage to keep the hotel and the rooms in perfect condition. And still the same friendly staff. And a good breakfast to start the day.

The Internet is now working fine.

So if you're looking for a central location, this is the place to stay.

The Paradise hotel has been around for a long time in Udon Thani and has a rich history form the sixties when the Americans used the UT airport to bomb Vietnam. It had fallen into disrepair, but has been thoroughly renovated over the last couple of the years. The renovation is not completely finished yet, which is the reason I don't give it five stars. As they are still working on 2 floors, there are good discounts to be had. The finished rooms are boutique style, roomy and bright with excellent boxspring beds, silent airco and a nice bathroom with piping hot water. There"s a nice courtyard with swimming pool and loungechairs. The restaurant has a fine breakfast buffet and does excellent Thai and Western food. Top choice in Udon Thani.

First the front desk staff don't have any idea how to do there jobs, Management is no better, construction is going on from 7 am to when ever they feel like it. No hot water in bathroom sink. The pool is in center of hotel so rooms are either on side of pool or parking lot side . Pool side there are no time restrictions. So Family's are out there at 7am and then you have your party people that are out there till 3am .We were on the 3rd floor very loud from pool to construction. So big tip if you would like to get sleep go to another Hotel. Dirty rooms ,mold in showers, we had large bug in our room . My husband and I have traveled all through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam . This has been the Worst Hotel, The hotel charged us twice went to front desk was told to talk to manager .We had been told over and over manager would be in everyday since problem and guess what never seen manager after 5 days . Then we were told he was on vacation so we never got to resolve that. So double charge on top of everything else. Spend a few extra dollars And stay at another Hotel it will be worth it.Dont stay at this Paradise it sould be called nightmare !

The hotel is centrally located but away in a little, quiet lane. Walking distance to restaurants and Central Mall. The pool is in the backyard and rooms facing the pool can be noisy due to people at the pool. Breakfast is average, mostly asian dishes, service is poor. Room is spacey and comfortable. Unfortunately rooms are not very clean.

There are sidewalks, so you can walk into town. For car rental, you should contact them at the airport.

Some rooms have problem with the WiFi! Otherwise there is no problem. The pool view rooms are much better. I booked through Agoda and breakfast was included! I do not know how you book. I am having a constant honeymoon, but not officially, so I cannot help on that! LOL Call the hotel reception +66801835193 & +66848788060 and ask for Mr. Bobby. He speaks English and is very helpful! Gave a nice time!
