It's an ok hotel for the location and price, room was acceptable. If you're staying for a couple of nights in UD town area, it's fine...not sure they do any breakfast there but plenty of places to eat locally.

Staff were friendly and helpful, I just always wonder why they ask for a cash deposit at hotel when you pay by card and always make you wait until they check your room before you leave.

I always book online.

Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful, room ok clean, good shower and comfortable bed. Location is excellent but not very much parking space. Only problem was that a lot of noise from the room next door as strange outside balcony area where they tended to stay shouting on the phone and at each other

Excellent hotel located a few mn walk from the train station, half way between the latter and the Central Shopping mall.
Very clean room, a lot of natural day light and a very confortable bed.
An excellent low/mid-budget hotel

Have booked a room for 3 nights there. Me and my girfriend arrived at the hotel in the evening with heavy legs after long journey, then we walked in for check-in. The receptionist wasn't really pay attention at all. No eye contact when speaking to us. She told us that all rooms are fully booked and did not let us stay during that evening. How come??

The woman asked us to stay at the other hotel (UD residence sister hotel) and did not confirmed whether the room will be free the day after or not. We went to the other hotel as she asked us to do so. Moreover, the quality of the room was bad compared to what we've booked.

Then the night was gone. We came back to UD Capital in the morning. Different receptionist this time. We asked about the room again. and what surprised me the most was that "the room was free yesterday and how come they put you in different hotel?" she said. And I was thinkig to myself yeahhhh We are the one who should ask you this question. Finally, we gotten to stay at UD Capital for the rest of 2 nights left.

I do understand that not everyone is going to be in the same situation as mine but I write this review just to help member of staffs in the evening time that service complaints is normal and and each one should be taken seriously for the sake of guests as front-desk is the face of the hotel.

So my all in all experience with the hotel is bad. Not gonna go there again. However, the location was okay.

Elevator was broken and stuck on 8th floor so everybody must use stairs.

Wifi is slow and at times non existent

Holes in the bedsheets.

Not enough parking spaces at busy times.

The showers have the wall mounted electric heaters so the pressure is terrible.

Walk to everything, from - the train station, to the night market, to pub street, central plaza and much more. I found the staff were very helpful with both the check-in experience and directions around town. They also organised my transport to Korat. In my room the balcony was small, but big enough to enjoy the lovely sunset over the city (see my YouTube). Bathroom was modern and the room had a nice and airy (booked a twin) to it, too. A bonus was the complimentary 3 in 1 instant coffee mix. Car parking is excellent and hard to beat the walk-ability of this centrally located modern 3 star hotel.

Booked this hotel based on price and location. Needed just a simple place to stay prior to a hospital visit. It is relatively new so I took a chance. BIG mistake. The staff is all quite young and inexperienced, so check in was slow. The rooms are tiny. The overall feeling is just very cheap construction. The workmanship is completely shoddy. Sloppy paint and caulk in the bathroom. The toilet sprayer leaked, so had to turn on and off at the tap to use. Turned down the bed covers to find the sheet covered with tiny black bugs crawling all over sheets, on and under the pillow also. Reported to the front desk which produced very little concern. Decided to leave and find a different hotel at 10:00 pm. Went with a known location nearby and had no problems. The price and location do not make up for bed bugs!

Stayed at UD Capital Unique Hotel before an early morning departure to Khon Kaen.

This just a Standard new build hotel which doesn’t really offer anything extra to other hotels that I have stayed at in Udon Thani.

The rooms were clean and location was close to the nightlife of Nutty Park and 5 minutes walk to UD Town.

Car parking onsite and free WiFi, which requires a code being obtained from reception.

For 800 baht, would I stay here again? There are plenty of other hotels within the City that I would stay at ahead of this, but it’s not too bad that I wouldn’t return back again.

Close to night market (5 minute walk) with ample room for parking. Has an elevator and a great loung area for chilling out. Staff speak limited English but are friendly and knowledgable about the local area.
Room was clean and comfortable with good airconditioner and hot shower. Ideal for couples.

So When checking in the reception said twin or double room. I said double please and she said the price. This was a misunderstanding as I had already booked with Agoda and got a very good rate. So she said I had booked a twin room. I asked if I could have a double but she then said none available. So I pointed out a minute ago it was available. OK, it took a little bit of discussion but I got the double. It was clean and decent room. The only complaint is they have a window but it may as well not have because it looks into the window of another room so no daylight from it. Which did not bother me too much as I was out during the day. Nice tough of the teddy bear they have on the bead but wonder how often it gets cleaned. :)
