I still despise dual pricing entry to Koh Samet for farrang but for a cheap getaway samet is ideal. Tok's is situated on Ao Phai Beach, a clean stretch of sand with shallow sloping waters, ideal for kids. The rooms have been reduced due to Covid, and at 800 baht for a standard double it's great value. The rooms are updated and fridge, TV, air con all included. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful during these struggling times. We had a first bungalow on the hill, looking straight at the sea. Could hear the waves at night, was very relaxing. Small restaurant is on site with very reasonably priced food, but you have the option to eat anywhere as breakfast is not included in price. It is in a good location for other bars, restaurants and beaches, but the beach opposite is decent enough. Can hire sun loungers and umbrella for 80 baht a day. Only negative is the damp, musty as mell around the resort, maybe from local run off. A pleasant 4cday stay, would definitely return.

we stayed 6 nights at this hotel, me wife and 23 month old daughter. location is very good and if you ask me of course we will return to the same hotel if we could. food was ok but not excellent. most of our meals we had there at beach restaurant. dont take the burger you will be disappointed (very small portion and generally in Thainland we avoid american style food because of this). we took pad thai (very nice) tom yam fruit platters and banana split most of the times.
breakfast was expansive compared to normal meals and not buffet. next door it was another hotel charging 350 pp (too expensive) for breakfast buffet while on the other side naga bar had DIY BBQ including fruits and ice cream (dont even taste the ice cream) for 189pp (very very cheap).
Rooms are ok but a bit old and 4 tiles outside the bathroom needed glue again (room 29).
Rooms are build up the hill with too many stairs to clilmb but for us was ok. just we left stroller at the reception.
Very weird i found that it was no smile or welcoming from guy at reception which made us feel strange especially in the land of smiles. but who knows everyone has his own troubles so can't blame him for this. just made us feel strange/unwelcome so we mentioned it.

Nice bungalows near village, but still peaceful. The beach is a few steps from bungalow and over a small road. Beautiful beach. Sunbeds 80baht/day. Nice small restaurant, the good pretty ok. Ice coffees very good. Breakfast options pretty simple, but good for early birds, opens at 8.
I’m a light sleeper, so I woke up many times a night to animal noices. Gekkos and other weird sounds. One night an animal scratched our door for a while. Think it was a stray dog, not sure, was too scared to look 😂😂 But theese things pretty normal in these surroundings. Motobike rental at hotel.

After 20 years living in Thailand I was served the worst food I’ve ever had. Well done to the chef, I’ve been served poor food before but he took it too another level. PS. Five people ordered and only 2 ate any food. The Thai food was awful and the beef burger was even worse

If you travel to Kho Samed and want a spottless clean nice bungalow with reasonable prises you should tru out Toks Little huts. Perfect location with the beach just across the road and town a few minutts away. The huts are on a smal hillside so you are away from the noise of nightlife. Good cheap food and very nice staff! After trying out many other Palaces on this butiful Island we ended up here night after night!

A very beautiful hotel with green areas. Instagrammable, you can take a lot of beautiful photos🤭 We stayed here for two days and went on an excursion. We got a room at the very top, of course it’s hard to climb up in the heat, but it was okay for us, we’re young😂. The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, there were two bottles of water. You can ask for beach towels at the reception. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous, like everywhere else on Samet, there are much fewer people than on the neighboring beach, where the fire show takes place. Sun beds on the beach 80 baht. The hotel cafe has delicious food, large portions and reasonable prices. I recommend this hotel👍🏻 Of the minuses: rather weak pressure in the shower, perhaps due to the fact that it is at a height

Really delicious place. We stayed there for 4 nights with 3 children. It cost about 2500 baht per night. Beach was small and almost no people so perfect for our family. The restaurant was ok. We then ate all our meals inside the town, about a 7-minute walk from there. Thai dishes for 80/150 baht

As always with Tok's Little House: brilliant customer service, great food, lovely beach and a spotless room. The restaurant is fantastic. They will adjust spice to suit your taste. Sunbeds for 80B. The wonderful staff make this place amazing.

complete satisfaction, we will be happy to return. The room was clean, clean towels and water supply every day, friendly staff, close to the beach, close to everywhere. The only mistake was the paid sunbeds on the beach, and watch out for hedgehogs, there were several accidents

If you want to enjoy the view, white sand, and calming sea view, go to this restaurant. I liked the atmosphere there a lot. Count with a fact that there might be some not cleaned dish at the tables around.
