The absolute highlight of our Thailand trip. We flew in from Bangkok and stayed at Navatara for 4 nights, It's about 30/40 mins drive from the airport however traffic can slow you down considerably depending on the time of day.

Location, rooms, spa and staff were all completely amazing.
The food was spectacular, home-made, fresh, tasty and healthy.

The free shuttle to the beach was brilliant, and the location is good for tour pick-ups or taking the bus down to Patong Beach.

I dithered whether to book this hotel or a cheaper one but I’m so glad I went with the Navatara. I even extended my stay.

Leena on the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. The best part for me as a solo traveller was the shuttle service (songthaew) and I was able to visit various beaches and the lookout point. Thank you to driver Mr Tee!

Room was large with traditional teak Thai furniture and a nice balcony overlooking the pool and the grounds. There is a lot of greenery. Breakfast was à la carte, not a buffet but with enough choice.

This is definitely a hotel for older travellers, not families with young children because of its location and set up. Rawai is not a swimming beach and it’s too far to walk to any local beaches. If you turn left out of the hotel there is a Family Mart and some small restaurants less than five minutes walk away. If you turn right, it’s 15 minutes to walk to the fresh seafood market which is definitely worth a visit/meal. The hotel does not have anything immediately around it.

Only minor gripe was the pool which I found a bit difficult to get in and out of because of the rough edges and only one ladder!

This was our first time to Thailand so wanted a quite location and hotel. So after alot of research we found Rawai and the Navatara Resort and what a find. We arrived after a very long journey from the UK and was meet by a very smiley receptionist who served a welcome drink. After the necessary paper work we where shown to our dulux swim up room 216. Perfect a big room with both bath and shower with a patio which has two sun loungers. There are lots of extra touches where included beach bag, two beach towels, slippers dressing gowns, shower toiletries, umbrellas, kettle cup and saucer, coffee, four bottles of water each day, so much it was a big surprise. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept on in a hotel together with good pillows. Our room was service each day and to a very good standard. All the staff are so friendly and always stopped to say hello which is so nice. We did get room service a couple of afternoons and as the cafe next door closes at 5.30pm last orders are 4.30pm so no evening meal offered which OK. The food is good especially the club sandwich which is very good. Room service arrives very quickly to your room and you just pay the waiter.

The hotel offers free trips to two lovely beaches and a viewing point and Rawai beach and the famous fish market we did use the free shuttle to both beaches which was great.

We where bed and breakfast and the cafe next door provides a buffet breakfast along with hot cooked food to order. As we where there for 14 nights we did get to know the waiting staff really well and as we had the same breakfast each morning they definitely got to know our order.

We've only got a couple of negative bits about our room, we wish there was a chest of draws as the draws are very small and narrow so we had to put all of our clothes in the small wardrobe. Also the chaisulonge is unnecessary as the TV faces the bed, so personally I would put a chest of drawers in its space, as said nothing major and definitely did not effect our stay at all.

Rawai is a very quite resort and hasn't got the most beautiful beach as it's more for the long boats to park but the resort does offer nice places to eat. We found the famous 7/11 which is a must when in Thailand for the cheese toastie which is OK for 29thb also a cafe/coffee shop called Wesee for great food and of course a coffee. There is lots of different restaurant serving different food for all tastes so you will not be disappointed.

All in all we had a great holiday at the Navatara and Thailand and if we were to travel to Phuket again we would definitely choose the Navatara Resort Phuket. Thank you for a great stay.

There is so much to like about this place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They'll help with anything you want , and one thing that impressed me was how quickly they returned emails (always within a few hours). The design of the hotel is unique and local, which is rare amongst Phuket hotels which are mostly of a generic style. The pool seems basic but it actually very enjoyable. The whole vibe of this place, despite being right off a road, is quiet and serene. The value you get here is amazing. But the best part of all is the location - you can actually walk to stuff. The Rawai beach area is just a few minutes away and has cafes and restaurants, as well as a nice non-swimming beach. Most resorts in Phuket are isolated. Two things to mention - because of COVID the food offerings at the hotel have been cut back, so there's not much to get on site. This is especially an issue for people who like a hotel breakfast. Hopefully the food situation will return to normal. Second, the rooms are basic, not luxurious. The beds are standard, the desk kinda small, and overall not much room to hang out, except if you want to sit on the balcony. I can highly recommend this place for someone who doesn't require luxury, but just be aware of the food situation.

Dear max736, Warm greetings from Navatara Phuket Resort. Thank you for sharing your rewarding review on TripAdvisor. We are glad to learn that you consider our ''Amazing in every way!'' It is our honor that we could provide you with a great experience and you mention us positively including our Navatara family, facility, hotel's design, pool, value price, and location. We try our best to give important information as much as possible to make sure that our guests go smoothly with their documents for entering Thailand. However, I would like to apologize for breakfast due to the Covid-19 situation, we have to manage guests to keep distance regarding new normal policies of WHO so we decided to temporaly stop the buffet line for breakfast. Now, we already run all functions including breakfast. I hope you can try our breakfast next time as well. You made us proud of ourselves and reflexed on the job that we have done to our guests with our passion and our willingness that is very meaningful for us and encourages us to keep doing well. We appreciate that you highly recommend us. We certainly are looking forward to welcoming you back to your Phuket home next time you are visiting. Great staff, nice hotel with authentic Thai atmosphere.

We stayed twice a week in this relatively small but especially lovely hotel last month.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. We noticed that the first week, but when we came back after a week and I could only walk with crutches because of an injury they were really great.

A metal stool was placed in the shower so I could shower sitting down, we got an extra chair so we could eat in our room in the evening, the staff in the restaurant helped to position the chairs so I could sit more easily, instead of in the back of the hotel pickup truck I was now allowed to sit next to the driver and the receptionist Jay advised us on the best hospital. When I was later able to move around a bit with a wheelchair rented (at the airport), Jay, Anita, Renz and the hotel manager thought along very well and advised me on what I could still do in terms of small trips.

We have travelled a lot and also often in Thailand but we have never felt more welcome anywhere than in Navatara. Especially Jay and Oh (the latter is the night receptionist I emailed before arrival) are really particularly good and decisive.

The hotel and garden are decorated with attention to detail. The furniture and decorations are refined and mostly designed especially for the hotel in authentic Thai styles from different regions. The pool is quite large for the 37 rooms the hotel has. The breakfast is delicious, you can choose several freshly prepared things from the breakfast menu every day and there is also a delicious buffet.

The hotel is just outside the bustle of Rawai but a few minutes walk from the south side of Rawai Beach, next to the hotel is a 7/11. With the hotel pickup you are within a few minutes at the fish market and Pier or at Nai Harn or Yanui Beach.

Despite the fact that I haven't been able to do much more because of my injury the last week, I am already homesick for Navatara!

We stayed at the Navatara for about 5 nights and I have only amazing things to say. Amazing service, great room (I loved our room #336), breakfast so yummy and food at restaurant as well.

Service: so attentive and polite. They are amazing. They even prepared a cake for our boys birthday, such a nice touch.

Room: nothing to say. Really clean and comfortable.

Food: really enjoyed the breakfast every morning with a lot to choose from. Dinner is really good too!

To be honest, the only comment is that I would love them to invest in a way to provide water without the excessive volume of small water bottles they provide for free. Maybe a filtered water system with glass bottle?

I returned last week after 5 nights at the Navatara hotel. I’d had 6 weeks touring Laos and Thailand, so knew I’d need a few restful days before flying home. I searched a long time for a small, quiet hotel in the touristy island of Phuket and decided on this one. As it’s only a 4 star, I wasn’t expecting too much. I can’t begin to thank all the staff enough, for making my stay so exceptional! The sea bass was the best I’d had in 7 weeks and the breakfasts were great. Anything I requested was there speedily, the smiles lit up every staff member’s face and the peaceful atmosphere was wonderful. The owner’s had decorated the hotel in typical Thai decor, much from the ancient city of Sukhothai, hence there was nothing flashy about the entire place. It was really exceptionally hot all the time I was there, so the only thing I would change would be some aircon in the restaurant. I ate in my room 3 nights as it was cooler. There’s nothing else I’d change. Thank you all for making my stay so memorable!

My husband and I have recently spent a week at this beautiful Hotel. The rooms are spacious and kept immaculate at all times. We had one of the rooms with direct access to the pool, which was fantastic in the high temperatures.
The staff are all a credit to the Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and there’s someone on the reception 24/7.
Wee, Milk & Rita were the three we had most dealings with, they were very helpful and knowledgeable, and always had a smile.
The food in the restaurant was by far the best we had all week. Moo was the perfect waiter, always had time for a chat with everyone.
Free trips to the beach were easy and on offer throughout the day. We visited Ya Nui Beach which is stunning and great for snorkelling.
The Hotel offers massage facilities which we took advantage of at the end of our week, we would definitely recommend.

Its a bit late to put my reviews here for Navtara hotel. We as a family stayed at this hotel during Jan 2020. The hotel rooms, toilets, breakfast etc everything was too good and moreover the staff was very good and co-operative. They even served us watermelon cut to our room when requested during late night for our son. On the day of check-out, we booked a private cab to airport which was cancelled by the cab driver at the last moment. The Navtara hotel staff, although it was a last minute request, they helped us in every possible way to arrange a vehicle to take us to airport for a reasonable price. We thank the hotel staff and management for all the help and the hospitality. We would always like to come back to the hotel whenever we would visit Phuket and recommend to stay :) - Pravin

During our 5 week stay in Thailand in February March 2022, we chose this hotel for our sandbox experience. The staff was super helpful from before we began our holiday, helping us out with the documentation needed for Thailand pass, to the day we left.

Very friendly staff, willing to answer any question and help you out if they can. A big thanks to everyone!

The breakfast is tasty, keep in mind this is a boutique hotel, and with limited rooms, the choices will also be a bit limited, but the taste and freshness is great.

We chose to have our lunches here as well, due to the fact that we love a well made western sandwich, and they deliver on that note!

The gym is funtional, could use a little bit of maintenance, but sufficiently equipped for our needs.

The hotel has bicycles you can use for free. We used them everyday to get to the beach!

If we ever chose to go back to Phuket, this will very most likely be the place we got back to.

Your feedback is invaluable in that it allows us to maintain our high standards of service and comfort and more importantly shows us in which areas we can enhance our guests’ experience. It was our honor that you mention us positively and moreover, we could provide you the great such as Navatara family, breakfast and our facilities. However, I will note maintenance for the gym. Thank for pointing and it makes us better. I appreciate your review it is very informative and encourages us to do our job well with our passion for treating our guests as our family. Hi sorry this reply is so late just saw the request. We have stayed three times at Navatara in the pool access rooms. We have always found it fine in terms of noise. If you have stayed in pool access rooms anywhere else it is pretty much the same in terms of privacy. It isn’t that big a resort so we haven’t found it an issue.
