Let me say if you are looking for a nice sandy beach and an ocean to swim in Stop reading because despite the name there is no beach to talk of
We had a pool access suite room 2109 which was in the shade all day (rooms opposite had the sun especially block C3)
The pool itself was nice and clean although cold when entering it was ok when you got used to it there is also a small pool at the front by the restaurant with sun loungers.
The room has everything you would expect along with a microwave and hob fridge freezer kettle in a small kitchenette
Bathroom with toiletries lovely rainfall shower
Bedroom has closets with safe torch umbrella hangers and dressing gowns a large bed a little on the firm side also has its own air conditioning unit
Sitting area has more storage another fridge freezer sofa coffee table tv air conditioner unit
All the staff are amazing
They run a shuttle bus free to a beach 9am to 1-30
Outside turn left walk to traffic light cross over to a 7/11 store
Turn right to the traffic lights cross over to a Big C convenience store walk a further 4/5 minutes come to a few local restaurants separated by some wasteland that is used by local market traders we ate in both restaurants each side of the market both were very good but preferred the one to the right of the market

Very well equipped and clean room with direct pool access, small kitchenette with free coffee, tea and water daily. Bathrobe, flip flops and large pool beach towels are available free of charge. Large shower with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
The staff was always very friendly and attentive.
The breakfast was sufficient, a mixture of Asian and continental breakfast.
The hotel restaurant "The Beach" was inexpensive and tasty.
We felt very comfortable the whole time.

The hotel was chosen quickly and the main request was the cleanliness and age of the hotel. They gave me a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool!! The room is large, bright and cool!!! The linen is clean!!! There are shampoos, conditioner, shower gel and lotion. Everything is in big jars - you can’t take it home)). There is a hairdryer and TV. There is a kitchen, but there are no saucepans, frying pans or knives. Only plates and mugs. You won’t be able to cook, we ate in restaurants. We rented a motorbike and drove along all the beaches, so the location of the hotel didn’t bother us much. We rented a motorbike for 1200 rubles per day near the hotel. We washed the laundry once, I don’t recommend it, we didn’t wash anything. (((I’ll restate it at home. Overall I liked my stay except for the breakfast with always cold scrambled eggs

What a great find all the way at the South eastern tip Phuket Island which actually has a bridge on the very north end of the island. I first came here in 1988 took a boat to the PP islands nothing there except little hut with an air conditioner and a generator what a big change in Thailand since those years. We were so happy to find such a wonderful gem as the beachfront Phuket nondescript entrance as the property is narrow but deep. It has pools or access to a long pool from all the rooms that I could tell and if you walk to the end of the property you’re met with a beach that all though it had been raining when we got here and raining in our two days stay I could hardly recommend this little oasis everything is new from the furniture to The flooring and the price was more than reasonable I recommend that you take a long car ride from the airport down to the southern end there’s so much to see and do people were wonderful free breakfast was on par with the 4 to 5 star hotel and the price is Very reasonable depending on the room even the cheapest room was more than acceptable.

Stayed in room #6109 with the plan to enjoy and relax with the amazing view. We entered the room and was instantly hit with an awful sewerage. We were so exhausted so we slept the night. The next day I notified the front desk and they told me that they will send housekeeping to check it out. House keeping came cleaned the room and placed fragrant pocket in the bathroom. The sewerage smell was really bad. The main room was unbearable and was not able to use the room. I notified the front desk and they sent the house keepers again. I notified and explain my situation again at 11pm that night and they finally sent a technician to come look at the problem. We were told the smell would stay and that there were not other rooms available that night. We had to sleep on the couch away from the smell from the ensuite and master bedroom. The smell gave us headache and stunk our clothes and skin. Eventually we were given two double bed rooms. And was finally able to enjoy the last night. We payed a lot of money and expected to have a relaxing and blissful time but it turned into a horrible holiday. We were not compensated with anything or even a proper apology. I urge people to ask to smell the room and instantly ask for a change of room or cancel the stay. I read the reviews on google reviews in a moment of frustration and saw a post a week before complaining about the same issues in the same room, see the photo attached. So it was clear that the staff were already notified about the sewerage smell and they intentionally put us in the room. They had ruined out stay and when we complained they seemed clueless. Just pathetic .

The receptionists and porters were all smiling and welcoming and the service was very good. The tattooed porters are very friendly, making you feel at ease during your stay. When going downstairs or going out of the accommodation area until returning, the receptionist always asked how things were. I was very impressed. The housekeepers took an interest in keeping the rooms clean, even though we didn't want to assume everyone's service. Well done. Including the security guards, they are very welcoming.

Stayed at the hotel for about a week. Booked two different rooms via Agoda and prepaid. When we arrived to check in the front desk said that they cancelled our reservations (though it stated as confirmed and paid on Agoda because they were not informed about cancellation).
The staff proposed to contact our manager or pay them for another room! After about an hour of clarifications they eventually checked us in.
First we had deluxe with pool access. The room was specious and had body lotion. That’s all for the pros… It was pretty dirty, hair everywhere, furniture stained and chipped. But worst of all was black mold (that is very bad for your health btw).
As for the pool it was small and only 1.2m deep - very disappointing.
Though it’s called Beachfront there is no actual beach there (you can’t swim in the sea and Rawai beach is pretty far).
And it’s located far from everything, nothing to do around.
Overall not awful but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds.
Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of weeds and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it!
Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off!
If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport.
Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience.
If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother.

The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

We had been looking forward to staying in a 4 star, beach front hotel in Thailand, but the reality was disappointing it many ways.

There were some good points:
*The restaurant/bar served nice food at a fairly reasonable price.
*The room was nice.
*Nice beach view from outside bar.
*Shuttle buses to local beaches, but only at one set time a day, each way.

But the negatives outweighed them:
*Although it was a beachfront hotel, you COULD NOT SWIM in the sea, which was not mentioned on the website.
*The hotel was on a very main road, with very few other places to go about.
*WiFi in your room was unlikely. It was strong in reception, by the pool, at the bar... But go to your room and the chance of connecting was minimal and this was highly frustrating.
*The bar closed at 10pm

And our personal negative experiences added to that...
*We had booked a twin room but when we arrived we had a double room and the bed could not be separated. My friend had already started to unpack when I realised the beds didn't separate, so we didn't really want the effort of moving rooms. I asked for a second duvet, so we had one each, and when I asked for it, I explained we had booked a twin room but it was a double, and received no apology.
*The phone in our room made loud beeping noises about halfway through our stay, I had to unplug it. I mentioned it at reception but no one ever came to look at it
*Housekeeping propt our door open and when they left our door wouldn't close. I reported it at reception, and to housekeeping, no one came to look. It got to when we wanted to go out for food, and we couldn't leave the room with the door not closing, so I had to go to reception and explain again what was wrong with the door and that we wanted to go out and needed someone now. It got fixed not too long after then.
*We ordered a breakfast box for the day we left as were picked up at 4.30am for the airport. The woman on reception wrote down our request. When we checked out, they had no record of our request and the kitchen didn't open until 6am!!

We would not stay here again.

This hotel is not cheap and is based on a main road, with No restaurants or entertainment around you. To get anywhere you need to book a taxi.
In the pictures it looks stunning, though actually in reality, it looks tired and run down with no soul and just not loved.

Reception.
This is the only hotel in the world that the reception staff have seemed unhelpful, I’m not sure if this is because of the language barrier, or there are rules.
Upon arrival, they ask for a BHAT 3000 deposit.(cash) no receipt given, no swipe of your credit card, 3000 of your spending money, even though there are signs everywhere saying prefer cashless.
You are only allowed one room key per room, difficult when there is more than 1 of you staying.
We have spent 6 days trying to get the deposit back, each time there is a different reason why it’s not there, they say the deposit is for the mini bar, which has about 8 cans in per day.

Room
The room is lovely, though not what we’re where sold through are travel agent.
We thought we where getting a one bed apartment overlooking the sea.
What we got was an 1 bed apartment with a side view of waste ground and the sea.

Beachside.

The hotel have a beach front, sandy area, with great views over the ocean, there is a dining area and 15 sun beds, though the view is great, it’s not comfortable, none of the furniture has cushions, the area looks unkempt and the staff disinterested. The lunches are good value though.

Food
The breakfast offers a good choice every morning and the staff are really helpful.

Overall the hotel lacks soul, it’s also not great if you have any walking issues as it’s on a hill.

Can you swim in the beach? Do you have a shuttle from airport HKT?
Rawai, Thailand21 contributions
Dear Pravesh T, Thank you very much for interested to stay with Best Western Plus The Beachfront. Our hotel is located on the South East coast of Phuket Island, a more remote, less crowded part of the island with a local flair. The beach condition is subject to high and low tide. During high especially, the views from our private back are stunning but due to the nature of the seabed, this is indeed not the best beach for swimming. Our shuttle bus service is offered free of charge to our guests to enjoy Naiharn Beach, one of Phuket's best beaches. And the hotel able to provide private car with THB 1,100.-per car per way, private van with THB 1,300.- per van per way, suppliment charge for serving during 22.00-07.00 with THB100.- per way per car. We look forward to welcome you to our hotel in the near future. Best regards, Manit Mooksaeng-Hotel Operations Manager and team
