Stayed here early January. The manager is very friendly as are most of the staff. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained, except unable to turn off the air con. Nice pool overlooking the beach. Unfortunately I have a feeling the owners are from Bangkok and Bangkok prices are reflected in the food and drink. It is possible to... More

My wife and I traveled here with a few Thai friends. This resort was one of the better ones that I have stayed in that is in this price range. It was extremely clean and fairly new. We stayed in the rooms as the cottages were full due to a company retreat that was also staying there. The beach was... More

Clean, well presented resort that felt safe and secure. The staff, whilst their English was limited, were very accommodating. They arranged drivers for us through the resort. A driver took us around the province showing us the main temples and sites of significance, with complimentary water and some knowledge about the local sites. They also offered transport to our next... More

Spent two nights in early January. About two hours drive from central Bangkok. Lovely rooms and great pool, including large kids' area. Directly on a beautiful and uncrowded stretch of beach with wonderful sunrises. Good restaurant, again directly overlooking the beach and sea. Would like to go again.

Great getaway not too far from Bangkok. Nice resort with private beach. Food is a little expensive on the resort but several options are available nearby as long as you have someone that speaks Thai in your group. Room was nice and clean. Sea had several jellyfish which made swimming a little difficult. Nice pool however.

Very clean resort with a pool overlooking the sea. Pretty large bungalows with an added outside shower. Very clean rooms with a large bathroom. Outdated TV with a good selection of channels. Since we were staying during the week there were like 5 other guests in the resort so everything was very quiet and enjoyable. There are several beach restaurants... More

Nice little resort on Haad Chao Samran Beach about a fifteen minute drive from the town. I am not sure its ideal for a holiday but for a quiet break it great. The resort comprises a series of large one bedroom chalets each with a huge bed, aircon and ceiling fan, free wifi and an excellent shower. The bathroom looks... More

The hotel is not as good as it (or other people) claims. For me it just normal and the bungalow room is quite hot during the day due to too small air-con in the room (and not enough heat absorb material over the roof). The good thing is they have sea-front swimming pool and quite large beach front area. But... More

Fisherman's Resort. Stayed for 5 nights. In the week it was very quiet and peaceful, felt private. At the weekend Thai groups came and used the beach and side area but not the pool or sun beds. Europeans don't seem to know about it. Everything about it was good. Lovely bungalows and pool area right on the beach. Only two... More

“As the resort is laid out is a sort of city grid system you should ask for a bungalow in the centre. Not next to the road or next to the beach. We were in 41 which was right in the middle but only 10 seconds from the pool and ocean. If you are up to the ocean you get all and sundry trundling past to get to the pool and restaurant. Also, dont accept a bungalow right next to the restaurant. During our stay they were parties of Thai toursits singing karaoke badly (dont think this happens every night as it doesnt and it really isnt too loud), which would have been fine if we had been invited to join in!”
