This is a lovely hotel in a great location - local restaurants and shops on the doorstep and the 'centre' of Kata and the beach just a ten minute walk away. The rooms are nice and you can see the Big Buddha from the balcony, and the hotel offers a cheap laundry service which is great if you're in Thailand...

I went diving for for the whole day, when i came back the door to my room was left open. Seems like the personal forgot to close it after cleaning. I don´t mean it the door was not locked, it was standing wide open. That is just not acceptable at all, i told the manager but seems like she didn´t...

I arrived in a well run hotel with friendly staff. The first night we stayed in a smaller room but we got compensated the next few days with a luxury room, balcony, bathtub and even a extra bed just in case. 5 star easy for service

A nice clean guest house run by a helpful family. Rooms were spacious and clean although the view was over a backyard and a workshop. A 10 minute walk to the beach and the main area of restaurants although some restaurants just outside. Helped us book our ferry to ko lanta with pickup from the guest house. Good price for...

I have been staying here 15 years and Tip (the owner with her husband) runs a great place. It is small but rooms are nice and impeccably clean. It is a walk about 150 meters to the beach and they also rent motorbikes (ask for a discount) and they have a restaurant plus there is a laundry across the road....

That' my 2nd stay in Thai in this Guest House. And I'm absolutely pleased with it's service, location (quiet street, just 5 minutes to the sea), price and welcoming atmosphere! Here you can also rent a bike. Next time I will definitely choose this place again

Nice and quiet hotel. Big room, great internet, polite staff. Everything is working as it should. The WI-fi signal is good, and works properly. There is a number of shops and restaurants in the area. About 10 minutes walk from the beach.

Kata has a nice, decent sized room. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main strip of restaurants and about 10 minutes to the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. I rate them 4 stars instead of five because the "hot" showers are more Luke warm and though the wi-fi is fast and reliable they limit each room...

I understand that we went in high season. In December 2013, New Years. We paid $60 a night for the room. Our friends stayed in a similar room at this hotel in Oct/Nov 2013 and paid only $12 a night. We booked a deluxe mountain view room with a bath tub. Needless to say that this type of room does...

“Email Kata view before you go, and ask for the best price. They will want to know how long you will be staying, etc. Don't let the taxi or shuttle bus stop on the way in, and rope you into another hotel. (They do that).”
