The resort is located in a secluded area atop a hill just outside the city centre. It is quite peaceful and not very busy, but the hill is very steep and a walk from the city centre is challenging. The van from the airport struggled getting up to the reception area.
The rooms were nice and clean and spacious enough for two people (we booked two adjoining rooms with two people in each room). Each day the rooms were cleaned, and fresh towels and bedding were provided. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were supplied with basic toiletries and fresh water. Each room was equipped with a mini fridge.
The breakfasts were good and there was a good variety of menu options available. The restaurant offerings for dinner were limited and the portions were small and very overpriced. We decided to eat our dinners at alternative venues away from the resort as a result of the abovementioned limitations.
The staff were very friendly, and the service and hospitality were good. We felt welcome and any requests were actioned professionally and timely. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Service was excellent! Staff are so so friendly and helpful. Kaw was so kind and greeted us when we arrived and gave us great tips for what to experience in town. Ohm was great with booking our excursions, made it so easy, and checked in with us to make sure we were on time and didn’t miss our bus! Kae was wonderful with the dining services and always greeted us with a smile and conversation. The cleaning staff did an excellent job maintaining our room after many days to and from the beach and I never saw any sand left over upon returning after a cleaning! The resort is beautiful with an amazing pool, views, and atmosphere. We stayed in room 3204 which had a partial view of the sea. It was nice and quiet and so peaceful! We had a great view of the sunset on our balcony. Only downside was that it’s up the hill and takes a bit more time to get down to the town and beach. But overall makes for a killer view at night time on the way back!

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a relaxing holiday, but my experience was nothing short of disappointing due to misleading advertising, poor service, and subpar facilities.
We booked a Deluxe Pool Access room with a Sea View, advertised as 48sqm. However, the room we received had no sea view—only a view of the bar pool, offering no privacy and exposing us to constant noise from guests drinking outside.
The room size was another major issue. It was significantly smaller than advertised. Upon measuring, the room was approximately 29sqm, even including the pool area, totaling only 39sqm—far less than the promised 48sqm. When I raised this with hotel management, the manager himself seemed confused about the room size and eventually admitted the sea view we paid for was not provided. Despite this admission, the best they could offer was a Spa voucher, which was a completely inadequate resolution for the stress and inconvenience caused.
Adding to our frustration, the standard Deluxe room we booked for another party in our group (advertised at 43sqm) was actually larger than the “upgraded” Pool Access room. This inconsistency completely ruined our holiday.
To make matters worse, the breakfast was poor in quality, lacking variety and freshness. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired, with several areas, including our room, not being properly cleaned.

We spent a week in a pool villa room and experienced a relaxing time in a very nice resort. The resort is 2 or 3 kilometres out of Patong Beach resort so no chance of being disturbed by the noisy nightlife. The hotel ran a regular complimentary shuttle bus to and from Patong Beach so it was easily accessible. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was excellent; we are both vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. We also ate in the hotel three evenings and the food was really good, freshly made and vegetarian choices were easily accommodated. One of the best things about the hotel was the staff, they were welcoming and friendly and couldn’t be faulted. Our pool villa was a distance away from the hotel and there was a buggy service to and from the main hotel building. The buggy drivers were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. There was some renovation work taking place during our stay to hotel rooms and on one day in particular we experienced significant noise from work on the room below, however we contacted the management team and work was stopped for the remainder of our stay. The assistant manager went out of his was to apologise and act on our concerns quickly. Event nights at the hotel were well advertised, staff ensured guests were informed about them and worked hard to make these enjoyable for everyone. It would be unfair to single out any individual staff members as all of the staff were amazing, helpful and always smiling; Kenny the manager has built a great team. All in all we would have no hesitation in returning to the Crest Resort.

Nice hotel, excellent pool, spacious rooms, satisfactory cleanliness, breakfast with lots of variety and good service. The hotel's weak spot is the location, being far from the beach and downtown of Patong. Although the hotel offers free shuttle at certain times being the last at 7pm to the center of Patong, it was a factor that bothered. When we used Uber, prices were expensive for the region. Throughly enjoyed our time at Crest Resort. They met each request we had positively, and helped make our stay the best it could be. It was very handy having the shuttle bus which went down to Patong as well, though it was pretty cheap to catch a Taxi or Tuk Tuk back to the resort. It’s only 10 mins down the hill to Bangla Road.
We loved the staff in the Fitness Centre (Mad and Susu), make sure you challenge Mad to a game of table tennis!
We stayed in one of the Deluxe Pool access room (w/ Sea View) and despite being close to the main pool area, we still felt secluded and private when on our balcony which went straight into the pool (w/ a lay down spa).

Excellent amenities, comfy bed. Food offering could be better. We had a pool access room which was absolutely amazing. The bathroom in our room was very very nice, could use a little more light but overall was very nice the water pressure is fantastic.
