Before we start this was our honeymoon. We are 48, 52 year olds never married before. Cannot thank BYD Lofts enough as what they gave us was memories that are so so important that we will treasure for a lifetime. These booking experiences are out of anyone's control and can make or break a trip, a holiday a honeymoon. To BYD we are so thankful. We booked a 1 bedroom with pool access. From the greeting at admission to leaving 7 days later could not fault the venue or more importantly the staff and service. The room was so beautiful, clean, bed so comfortable, the daily cleaning could not fault and then 24/7 access by private gate to a lovely rooftop pool, thank you. Breakfast was a highlight not too big or small but had everything you want, whatever country you come from. Breakfast staff could not help you enough. When you walked throughout the facility staff always talked, welcomed you from the front counter to the maintenance crew. As far as location it is so quiet being just of a main street that you feel like you could be anywhere. We hired a scooter, so great travelled nearly 600km during our week but able to park right in front of the hotel. My wife has been to Patong 4 times I the second. So cannot wait to come back. Apologies for big text but the staff at BYD Lofts are the true asset to this business in conjunction with a beautiful venue and within distance to most aspects of Patong. I stayed for almost 2 weeks at BYD Lofts with my wife this month and we were very pleased with our choice. The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to Patong Beach (sand and street food), 20 minutes walk to Big C supermarket and 15 to Bangla street. BYD is located in a quiet backstreet, so no traffic or general street noise. You see the same friendly people every time you walk out of the hotel, which gave the location a nice "community" feel. There is a cheap laundry (100 baht a kilo) across the street and a very cheap restaurant with a friendly owner and good food next to it. 7-11 and Family Mart are within a 5 minute walk.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was clean, comfortable and met all our requirements. The kitchen had a microwave, electric stove and a big fridge. The cleaning staff were all very friendly and did their job in a careful and conscientious manner. We did have internet speed issues, but Alex the Manager was great and promptly fixed the issue - 200mbps download when fixed.
My wife used the small gym which was clean with all the equipment in order. No chance to try out the pool in the annex building or the rooftop pool in the main building. Disinfectant was provided in the gym and I had the impression that BYD was taking Covid precautions very seriously.
The Phuket Sandbox scheme can be complex, but a major shout out to the reservations team for answering emails quickly and professionally. WhatsApp seemed to be the fastest way to contact them and they guided me through the Sandbox process.
BYD is not a massive hotel, but its smaller size allows it to care for its guests with much more attention. 5 star service, great location and comfortable rooms. We will be back again soon.

Me and my wife stayed 14 days in room 201 January 11-29 it was one bedroom deluxe suite.The room was light clean and airy.The bed was so comfortable.the bathroom was spacious and the kitchen area was perfect.We got a free transfer from the airport in a lovely air conditioned Mercedes.We were greeted warmly with a nice cool drink and scented wet cool flannels after our long journey.The breakfast area was so relaxing.The service there was fantastic.The food was the best I have ever encountered.English breakfast available,all types of croissant.Various fresh fruits and yoghourts.We particularly liked the crab salads and potato salads.We never ate until the evening after the great breakfast.The pool area on the 4th floor was a lovely oasis of calm,super comfy beds.If u get the app u can order food and drinks which are brought up to you.The area looks small but it was never full and almost had it ourselves on several days.We dined in the restaurant twice and thoroughly enjoyed the meals on both occasions.Restaurant had a really chilled quality ambience.Room service was perfect and they soon worked out the pace of your day ie we get up early and our room was made up by 12 most days.The staff here are exceptional in providing your every need.We recommend this hotel 100%. 5 min walk to beach and 10 mins to the crazy Bangla road.Simon&Wendy x

BYD Lofts is fantastic accommodation in a perfect location just 5 mins walk from the beach.
The communication before arrival was great as we had a 20 hour delay on our flight (thanks Qatar Airways) and I emailed BYD to let them know as we needed a change to the transfer and they promptly replied. We popped over to reception a few times and they reminded us of our 2nd PCR test the following day.
We had room service breakfast on arrival and the food was lovely. We didn't dine in the restaurant at BYD as there are just so many restaurants to choose from we ran out of time.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and the air conditioning works a treat. Beach/pool towels are supplied and can be swapped out at the pool areas whenever you want. Yes, there are multiple pools! There was one in the ground floor of our building which is quite shaded and one on the roof of the main building which has a few more sun lounges around it.
The bed was super comfortable with multiple pillows so you could choose which one suited best and the kitchen had enough in the cupboards that we had breakfast in the room each day to save some money.
I would absolutely recommend staying here at BYD Lofts. We had an amazing time.

A fantastic hotel, rooms large, very modern, clean and well appointed. A good selection of breakfast items and the resturant lunch / dinner menu was very nice along with the bar area. Roof pool was nice and there always appeared to be available sun loungers. The staff were all very helpful and cheerful. The only slight negative was the wifi in our block (T block) was not that consistent. A great location as it was an easy 10 min walk to beach or nightlife but could then return to the hotel for some peace and tranquility.

Having returned after 18 months of the world being locked up the owners of this luxury accomodation have done a fantastic job , rooms all re-decorated , communal areas refurbished, the staff still the same and are just like family & in these strange times provide a fantastic service to all guests
So really coming to stay here is like home to home. Having travelled round the island yes it is a little different and more quiet at this time but my view is that now a huge percentage of the Thai islanders have been vaccionated and only tourist that have received the vaccine can travel here which my opinon rates this island as one of the safest places in the world to travel and enjoy your holiday with peace of mind to feel more free of covid-19.
The luxury accomodation here gives you very large open plan living smallest room 50sqm and largest 2 bed at 160sqm , all rooms are indiviual air con systems so the air is only changed through your room only and not from the whole building which again great for safety. I have been here 1 week already and still have a further 9 days left here and if anything the quality of my stay here has been just as good as it was prior to covid-19.
I think if you are seeking quality accomodation and service and at current great prices , see there website you will certainly be in very safe hands , So a very big thank you to all the staff and the owners for maintaining such very high standards for hotel accomodation,, and will look forward to my return in December for christmas and new year celebrations .

I enjoyed my six-night stay at BYD Lofts and would stay there again. The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed including a desk supplied on request. Great light in the suite. Restaurant and bar had a great ambience, good food, and friendly service. I liked having the Wine Connection store adjacent to the lobby. Location was good, quiet street.

We had a 105 sqm one bedroom apartment again. These rooms are well laid out modern and kept in imaculate condition. The staff are friendly and most helpfull. Most speek good english. Breakfast was always good with orders for eggs etc. taken at the table. We dined in a number of times and found the food and sevice excelent. The wine conection shop on the ground floor sold good quality wine at reasonable prices for Thailand. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance and the beach is only 5 minutes away. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Visited Phuket for New Year 2020 and found the BYD to be a real oasis of calm in amongst all the chaos of Patong Beach. A complimentary courtesy vehicle was provided to take us from the airport tot he hotel and then we received an extremely nice welcome from the hotel reception staff. Stayed in a one bed apartment which was really nice, only negative would be we had a rear facing balcony with not much of an outlook. We paid extra for breakfast and it was worth every baht! Great selection of food to cater for all tastes and the we actually ate in the restaurant three times out of five nights as the food quality was so good and just delicious, Thai and western dishes alike. The rooftop pool area is rather small, only about 16 sun loungers but it was never that busy. I did object to some of the pool users blasting out their own music and Netflix downloads for all to hear. The use of earphones should be made compulsory and enforced. Having said that, I can't recommend this place highly enough and it would be number one on our list when we return to Phuket.

Regarding to your late checkout request, please find below for our hotel policy;
Check-out time is 12.00 hrs.
Free late check-out until 13:00 hrs.
Check-out until 17:00 hrs. is 50 % charge
Check-out after 17:00 hrs. is full day charge, the reason is that our housekeeping staffs called-off their duty at 18:00 hrs.
Therefore, we could not offer the room to future guests after the cleaning is done on the next day.

I would say yes they do have cots but not sure if they charge for them or not. You would need to email the hotel directly but most hotels in Thailand provide cots free of charge.
