A very nice homely experience. A great location on Nannai Road, the hotel offers very nice spacious, clean rooms and a nice pool. Service is amazing, friendly, nothing is too difficult. A real bonus is the food in the restaurant, it offers many delicious options but the Thai food is of a home cooked style, delicious. A great option to stay in Patong.

I stayed at the Palmview Resort in November 22’ for 6 nights. I booked a suite room which is very spacious and clean. One side of the suite overlooked the swimming pool and mountain. While the other side over looked Nanai road. The hotel is about a 5 minute motorbike ride from the beach. You can rent motorbikes directly from the hotel. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very good restaurant. There are many good bars, restaurants and street food carts nearby. There is a Family Mart directly across the street opened 24 hours. For the price, you can’t beat staying at the Palmview Resort in Patong. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A great location on Nannai Road and exceptional service always. The rooms are spacious and very clean, love the balcony overlooking Nannai Road. A very nice swimming pool offers great relaxation. A real bonus tho is the restaurant down stairs offering great home made style food. From breakfast to Laksa, Pad Thai to Thai Green Curry etc. there are many options. A great place to stay.

Nice staff, rooms large enough with good air con, good hot shower, enough shampoo and shower gel and coffee and tea making facilities. The hotel is dated but is situated in a good area for bars and restaurants. Maid service is daily and nice towels are provided with water each day. The pool area is nice but small with limited sunbeds, limited shade and no towels or umbrellas. There are chairs in the shade for the pool view rooms only. The restaurant is popular and does well and there seems to be a lot of returning custom here. Beds are a little hard and so are the pillows in the Thai style. We had a room overlooking the road 3rd floor but did not find it noisy. There are no safes in the room but there are some in reception. We would certainly consider staying here again but because it is in Patong the price seems a little high compared to other properties we have stayed in.

A great experience. Set on Nannai Road, a central location, with the Most Amazing Staff. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. A nice pool on offer and the restaurant offers amazing home cooked Thai food as well as great coffee and western food. A must visit.

We organised to stay here from recomendation from a friend. We arranged to be picked up from the Airport as this was our first time to Phuket. The pickup was on time but the english was poor. Upon arrival the greeting was friendly & English excellent for one of the girls. The rest were marginal but she was there most of the time so it was ok.
Dont book this resort if you want to be near the beach or shopping. Its quite a long walk on the roads (no footpaths) in the hot sun. Also it is up high so there are steps to get to the reception.
The Internet was fine the 1st day but after that we had nothing but trouble with it for the rest of the stay.
The 1st night we got about 2hrs sleep. The aircon was extremely noisy & fan wasn't much better. Got the fan sorted out next morning but the aircon was the same. Next night the two guys next door had an arguement at around 5.00am, slamming doors & yelling. We banged on the wall but didnt make any difference. I complained the next morning & as one was leaving they shifted the other guy to the end room away from us so it was ok.
Peace rained for a while then we were shifted upstairs which was ok as the aircon was much quieter but the fan didnt work.
The best was yet to come as 4 Aussie Yobo's took the rooms downstairs. The next morning at 4.30 5.00am they came back yelling & jumping in the pool creating havick. Of course the complaints came in later at the front desk. One or two couples left. We stayed thinkin it was sorted but vertially the same thing happened next morning so we organised to stay about 10 metres down the road and checked out as well.
I returned later that day to pick up some washing & the female manager was rude & horrible to me. Not our fault you allow Yobo's to stay!
The other resort was quieter, modern room, $6 cheaper per night & the Internet was flawless. Should have shifted a lot earlier. Wouldn't stay there again.
If you are in the area the only good thing is the little resturant downstairs underneath Palmview. Privately owned great value & service.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The manager was so lovely and all the staff were happy to say hello and smile away :) our room was a good size with a huge balcony with a few over the pool and the mountains. The room had a large fridge, tea/coffee making facilities which was great and they were cleaned daily and very quickly! The pool was cleaned every morning and was nice to sit around, you can get towels from reception too for the pool or beach. We had breakfast in their restaurant underneath which was nice, service was slow with drinks but it was down to other people barking at the waitress for more orange juice, coffee etc so we knew she was busy. Its in a nice location, about 10 minutes to the shopping centre and 15 mins to the beach, we were happy to be away from Bangla road! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Phuket,

I stayed in this resort for 6 nights. It's clean, rooms are ok for that price...bit noisy though. Lot of drlling around in the morning. Its also a bit too far away from everything. You can get a motorbike taxi or tuktuk but you might aswell pay a bit more somewhere else then. What I really did not like are the guests who were staying there at the time.... Guys who came specially there for a sex holiday and have to show and brag that every to every one. Because the hotel is small and the rooms are around the pool. I could not relax around the pool without having this in my Face. I know that's what Thailand is about and I m not a prude but it made me uncomfortable.

There is no complimentary airport transfer. Only people who have paid for a room can use the facilities. This is not an international resort-it’s a small hotel with a pool.

It's about 30 minutes to the beach, but it's a pleasant walk and plenty of interest along the way. There are loads of bike taxis or Tuk-Tuks around if that's too much. The pool area is quite small, but it's a lovely feature as I think that all of the rooms overlook it?

Yes Very, I like the rooms facing the road, bigger, love watching the world go by on Nannai Rd. Staff are amazing, will do anything for you, in hotel or restaurant, which offers good food. And the pool is nice.

is it possible to book tour to phi phi & James bond island from the hotel ?
Answer from Julian A

yes the manager will book the trips for you, though I found the Phi Phi Island trip very commercialised, rushed and over crowded, if I did it again I would hire a small boat and guide and go early before the crowds, around ten to twelve fully laden boats all converging on the islands at the same time spoils the experience somewhat.
