Right across Patong Beach with decent rooms and box (packet) breakfast. Every entertainment facility is available on walking distance but unfortunately no parking space and entrance lane occupied with small shops. Good for budget travellers.

Great hotel just of the main beach, staying for 2 days. The first day we arrived at our hotel and was greeted with a smile, no lifts so up the stairs, the stairs and landings were nice and clean. The room was really nice and clean and the decor was crisp and nice. On the way to the beach we were given beach towels and a mat for the sand. Great sleep comfortable bed still have one day to go.

I stayed at Tiras for one week and had a great time. Everything was clean, the hotel has a top location near to Patong Beach and Soi Bangla. Also 7-Elevens and good restaurants are around. You get a lot for your money. Staff was also great. Namfon was taking care of everything, is always smiling and is the friendliest person you can imagine. I will miss her! I can recommend the Deluxe Rooms for more space.

After 40 hours of traveling we arrived at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning maybe 2am local time. The man at the front desk got us checked in and in the room in minutes. We elected for the cheaper room without a balcony. In our travels, the room is just a place to sleep, so we rarely go with room upgrades. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom shower was really nice in my opinion. They only downside we had was the firmness of the mattress. To be fair, I did a bit of research and hard mattresses are not that uncommon there. This was considerably more firm than what we were used to, but we did get used to it. Each floor has 6 rooms, three small ones with a window, and three larger ones with a balcony. We had the smallest of the small rooms (206) for the first 8 nights. It was just fine for us, but it is very noticeably small. Not a complaint, just an observation. Our one odd night that we stayed after a trip to Singapore and before leaving we were in the larger version of the small room (202). Exactly the same just more room off the end of the bed. I assume the third floor is set up the same way. Inside the rooms were quiet. We never heard any street noise. The only time we heard anything was people thumping their suitcases down the stairs. That was rare though since there are only 12 rooms in the hotel. The staff was really nice. Always with a hello. The lady working there took extra care to make sure our transportation arrangements that she made were correct. She would check and double check before making them. Their English is perfectly fine for most hotel interactions. Wayyyyy better than my Thai, that is for sure! When the taxi drops you off at the end of an alley, don't let that scare you. It is a bit odd at first, but is really nice quiet entrance in the end. If you get there after hours and see an empty alley greeting you, don't think you are in a different place when you see it in the daylight. This alley transforms into a really busy market. You do have to walk through this if you go to the hotel between 10 am and midnight. You will get asked to buy things, but after a while the vendors get to recognize that you are staying in the hotel and simply great you. They are really friendly and just trying to make a living, so give them a break. The hotel has a coffee shop. I don't drink coffee, but my wife does. I got her one in the morning once. She seemed to like it. Most of the time I was up before the shop opened, so I would just walk to McDonald's instead. That is just about a 3 minute walk. Right next to the alley entrance is a restaurant called "The Place" They have 99 bhat drinks. As our vacation went on and we got more tired, we spent a lot of time there just watching the world go by. We really liked it. We absolutely would not hesitate staying here again. Without question this was a good value for price, location, and what it offered. Remember this is not a resort. This is a low cost boutique hotel. It offered just exactly what we needed and wanted, nothing less, but a bit more than I had expected. As a side note, if you are staying here for any length of time, my advice is to pack less and just take advantage of the laundry service. It is 50 bhat (about $1.65 US) for 2 pounds of clothes. Totally worth it. Turn it in as you leave in the morning and about 24 hours later, you get it back all washed and folded. Thanks for the service you offer. And I hope to visit again someday!
