I stayed for one week in a double room for my 'quarantine' in Phuket. The location is good, only a 10 min walk from Patong Beach and probably 15 min away from the main stretch of bars and restaurants in Patong. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the shower was good. However, the room was very small - there was no wardrobe and barely space to walk around once my bags were in the room as there was nowhere to store them. There was also only one plug socket in the entire room and the WiFi was pretty average. For $25/night there is absolutely no way this was good value for money.

Very simple and not expensive. But if you want comfort and service, you're definitely not here. The hotel is suitable for those who travel all day or spend time on the beach, and in the evening he needs a toilet, shower and bed.
It is 5 minutes walk to the beach. It takes 10 minutes to the center. So the location of the hotel is great. Housekeeping every day.
The room has free air conditioning, fan, WiFi and safe. There is a TV with international programs.
There is no closet (shelves) for clothes. There is an open closet with a small number of hangers. The main things are stored in your suitcase, which lies on the floor.

Not a bad stay for someone who comes to the hotel just to sleep. Otherwise I would consider the rooms as cramped, I couldn't even open my luggage. The location is too close to the party street, at night I was listening to that loud music and karaoke.

We stayed here in November. service staff is quite attentive and our room was cleaned every day, but there was so tightly. You feel like you have no air to breathe!
They also have no wardrobe, it important 'cause we were forced to store clothes directly in a suitcase. And in is clear that two towels are not enough for two people for one day. I mean they do really give you one towel only- for you face, hands, body. Thy don't care at all.
Also there weren't glasses. And a fridge was absent too.
Just a small, but clean room.
I liked the atmosphere, and the prise is really low, but the very next time we'll choose another place to stay in.

It was a pleasant experience at the Red Planet Phuket Hotel. The price was good. The location was convenient, 5 mins walk to Patong Beach, 15 mins walk to Bangla Road and many restaurants, cafes massage shops, laundry and tour companies around the hotel. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful and polite.

Clean & tidy room, very friendly and helpful staff.
Location is close enough to bangla road you can walk, but far enough that you don’t hear music all night long.

All local facilities close by.

Have stayed in Patong many times with many hotels being plausible at best.

Red planet is clean, comfy, cheap and convenient if you like a simple hotel

A 1 star hostel would have been cleaner!
Just disgusting! As soon as we checked in and went into the rooms, we immediately noticed dirt and filth everywhere, from the elevator to inside our rooms.
The rooms were so small that our luggages did not fit in and would have to open them on the bed.
The bathroom had stained toilet seat and hair everywhere. Bedsheets were stained with something blood-like and other human fluids (iykyk). Holes in the bedsheets everywhere. There was no closet aside from a rack with 3 hangers .
Lobby was something horrible, the exterior is not what the pictures show.
We immediately checked out and our stay in that “””hotel””” lasted 20 mins (and of course we had to find another place to stay)
Do not go there!

Dear Drusiani Irene, Firstly, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you’ve encountered as every guest is important to us and we truly feel disappointed when our guests are unhappy "even if you are not staying with us". We're sorry to see that some aspects did not met your expectations. This was definitely not our norm and shouldn't happened. Having looked into this and instructed the Housekeeping team to improve on room cleanliness standards immediately. Concerning the size of the room, our Standard Room size, This is due to the hotel's concept of being a 'value hotel'. is calibrated to ensure that we are able to offer the best value for money. After you refuse to stay with us on the first day of your check-in, in a while our staff try to do the best to follow your requirements, thereafter you report to your agent requesting a refund and canceling your booking. Even if your booking is in non-refundable condition. Because the period that you booked our occupancies was full, that caused us to lose the opportunity to sell the rooms to other customers. But we still insist on canceling your reservation and refunding all your money. And it makes me really surprised that you wrote a negative review without actually staying with us. However, we truly understand in your situation. Thank you once again for your feedback, and we hope to have a chance to welcome you again in the future. Sincerely, Wichuda R. Assistant Hotel Manager

I stayed in this hotel for nine nights without a complaint. The rooms are small, but modern and very comfortable. I had a very good sleep in the bed and the showerhead had pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and Bangla Road. The restaurant next-door was a good option for breakfast. The staff was very helpful, and I definitely will be staying here again. I would feel confident sending friends here.

Great hotel option for those on a budget or needing to save a few baht. Great service with all the basics. Great Air Con, strong shower, lock box, and clean! Only draw back was the shower is next to toilet. So use toilet first. Your shower will flood the floor. Staff is great. They let me leave my bags after check out, so I could take an island hopping tour! I also used Red Planet in Pattaya City. Great brand.

Yes Most red planet hotels allow guests up to 10pm. I am unsure about over nighters or 1am bar dates but you can ask them thru email inquiry. I have resided at many of their hotels and at worst they require the guest to leave an id card at the front desk is the person is thai
