Big disappointment !!! Ιn a cheap country as Thailand is, you would expect something completely different, paying 140 euro per day... unfortunately our choice was bad !!! A very dirty room ( you can have an idea from our room’s photos) with completely indifferent to the customers staff… My suggestion? Try something else ….

Considering 4* rating, room was very unclean, and tatty. Bathroom tiles were all covered in soap scum and water marks, cobwebs all over the place. Bedsheets we’re stained and ripped. All table and side surfaces were covered in a greasy film. We found a dead cockroach in the room, and was hoping that housekeeping would remove the following day so that we didn’t have to touch it… they didn’t. We lost all water pressure one night (which wasn’t great in the first place), so we couldn’t shower. Reception didn’t communicate at all on when it would be resolved. When there was water pressure, the water out of the tap was a lovely brown colour. I tried to use the laundry service… on the paperwork it says that items received before 10am would be returned the same day, on bringing a few T-shirts and underpants to reception at 8am, I was told that they wouldn’t be returned until after 4pm the following day, which was after we were checking out, so no good to me. The reception staff said that they would speak to the manager about the issues when we raised them, and would have a route to a resolution for us. On checkout there was no resolution (not even the offer of a free drink at the bar), and no issues had been communicated to the manager, so the reception are ok with lying to your face.

My favorite Hotel in Phuket. Spacious rooms, clean, all amenities, pool, beach and the best breakfast buffet. From the minute you walk up to the front desk you will feel that this is home. Smiles all around. Very knowledgeable about everything happening. Housekeeping staff will make sure you are not missing anything, and are most efficient in accommodating you. 24 hour security everywhere on the property gives me that added safe feeling. Location is where you want to be: beach, restos, shopping. Bangla and all the night life you can take all within minutes. Whenever I go to Patong, Impiana is my home away from home.

Excellent hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with lots of storage and free water. Pool area was very comfortable with big cushioned loungers. Staff were very friendly. Location being right on the beach was perfect. A matter of steps and you’re there. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff are very very nice and accommodating check in and out is very quick no waiting around which we found fantastic, Impiana is in a Great location right on the beach which you can access from the pool area, the morning buffet is really good big selection. It’s close to Bangla road but not to close to hear all the noise, there are other restaurants and other bars close by if you don’t wanna be in the deep of it all, all in all great place, BUT the only downfall is the rooms very very dated the bathrooms definitely need an upgrade don’t get me wrong they are clean rooms but you know when something is dated and gets repaired or patched you always the see it,it looks tacky and dirty silicone around the shower glass smired etc, basically for the cost of the rooms per night 100% definitely not worth it, I’m a frequent traveler there and there are better newer places around that area with better value and more amenities.

No-one expects to start a holiday having to make a trip to the supermarket to buy bleach to treat the bathroom, but that was our experience. It stunk and the bath was surrounded with mould. Towels were at times literally threadbare and the wifi hardly worked for our entire time there. The positives: the location could not be beaten. It was just marvellous. Some of the staff too, particularly those working in the bar, were very helpful. Overall though, this is a tired hotel which, given its high price, is poor value. I think I'd go elsewhere.

This was a deeply disappointing stay. The hotel appeared to be poorly managed and under-staffed. It was grubby and tired. I was upgraded from a suite to the top suite (Royal villa) and it was very poorly maintained and poorly cleaned. Glass and mirrors were not cleaned, and many walls and ceilings were water damaged. It was dirty and felt very poorly maintained. Indeed, the entire hotel was rather worn and poorly maintained. Breakfasts and food service was also the worst I have experienced in Thailand - I have travelled to Thailand about 15 times for work and holidays. It was not 4 star and the location did not compensate for the tired and grubby rooms - I bought bleach to clean the bath, shower and toilet myself! If I had not paid for the entire stay in advance, I would have changed hotels - my recollection is that I was paying around $370 Australian dollars per night (booked through QANTAS). Friends stayed in Deluxe room and it was also very tired and grubby. Please see my photos to give a sense of the poor quality and maintenance.

We recently returned to our favourite spot in Thailand the Impiana Patong. We did do a quick trip back in September but I didn't do a review as I thought that wouldn't be fair due to the amount of works going on at the hotel. Whilst we were there, we met with the new manager Philip, he explained as to what was in the pipeline to bring the hotel back to its glory days. True to his word when we returned in March so much had happened and there were still projects, maintenance etc under way. The pool area is now free of those old wooden decking boards and the washed augurate concrete looks great. poolside lounges have new cushions, not all of them but a total replacement is coming. The hotel has re-employed the security staff to the rear and front entrances. In regard to the buildings, a lot of the roofs have been re-laid. Inside new electrical switches and air conds have been installed. Philip mentioned that upgrading the TVs was one of the next things on the agender. So overall our stay was fantastic, and we can't wait to return later in the year. Thank you so much Philip for your hospitality. The way you are managing the hotel and initiating maintenance, upgrades etc is excellent.

Location, location the best, steps away from the city centre and from the beach. Housekeeping not so good, just doing bed and tidy-up the bathroom. Floors and dust not cleaned. Breakfast should include more variety of fruits, only 3 (watermelon, Pineapple and Papaya), but just 2 of them each day. Staff also need more training in table serving, almost every day I had to ask for coffee to be served. Outdoor umbrellas and bases in need to be replaced or refurbished, outdoor roof bar with rotten wood and missing parts. Concierges with poor basic English. Overall the hotel is well located, friendly staff but in need of repairs

Very good location, but very poor cleaning service, they only do the beds, the shower never cleaned also the dust for all the time we stayed (10 days) staff does not speak the basic English very well. Breakfast should offer a variety fruit from the season, instead just some days pineapple, watermelon or papaya but only offered 2 of these everyday, and also no lactose free meals offered.
