Forget the sombre mood from the COVID-19 times. Book a few nights here and you will feel refreshed by the beachfront experience and the peace of mind in finding all the things like food, tours and therapeutic massage nearby. I stayed here for two nights and would say facilities are well-staffed and maintained though it has been tough times for popular areas such as Patong. Hotel staff was mindful with COVID safety measures, ensured our room had access to free hand sanitiser and surgical masks, and made sure room was cleaned thoroughly every morning. Would give 10/10 for both reservation and restaurant (Sala Bua) service. Understandably tough times for the industry but everyone made sure we had a pleasant and refreshing stay. Excellent!

We recently enjoyed a few nights at the Impiana Resort in Patong. The resort is well laid out with a central pool and direct beach access. It is conveniently located. Staff were friendly and always keen to help. The breakfast buffet had good selection, the cooking was above average and service was attentive.
Noise can be an issue for rooms backing onto the street. Entertainment across the street and the presence of promotional vehicles from time to time can be loud and thumping. Noise from high revving motor cycles can also split the night. But most things settle somewhat after 1am which is great if you’re out partying anyway. The noise of attenuates quite quickly though and the ambient noise level for the second row of rooms from the street is much improved. We noted that the better located rooms away from the street appear to receive more use as a result.

We spent almost 2 weeks here, very disappointing hotel, run down and old, unfortunately they probably lost a lot of money and staff due to 2 years of COVID. The staff was as helpful as can be which is highly commendable as they had to work with a run down hotel. The hotel does have the best location right on the beach and the pool steps away from the beach and a small walk to Bangla St where the night life is.
The pool is quite dangerous, a lady went to hospital because she tripped on the decking. Most of the decking is unstable with the wood planks not secured to the floor, we did see maintenance working on this the next day but they didn’t fix the whole area only a small part. The stairs into the pool was loose and unstable, we saw maintenance hanging around but this was never fixed. The customers are very inconsiderate leaving towels and personal items on the pool chairs to reserve a spot and to not be seen for hours. At one stage there was approximately 20 towels and no patrons to be seen. The pool chair cushions are very old and mouldy, we did see upholsterers measuring.
The first 2 nights we spent in a room that smell of wetness and mould. We had to complain and move when the tile floors remained wet, even after drying the floors a couple of times with towels it remained wet. We had to remove our items off the floor. The staff was prompt when we asked to change rooms. However the new room we had 3 complaints, no hot water, we had to ask again the next day and it finally got fixed, the lights went out one night. The wifi didn’t work, we saw that a technician came the next day but it still didn’t work the rest of our stay.
Overall a lot of issues for a hotel. With all the issues we can see staff, technicians and maintenance trying to fix these issues but the rooms and pool are long overdue for a major renovation. We spoke to fellow patrons and the room rates are between $120 to $250 AUD a night. There is actually no fitness centre with gym as mentioned on their amenities.
A big thank you to the staff who work long hours and trying their best to run a hotel that require a lot of repairs. Hotel 2 stars and staff 4 stars.

The resort is clean and nice, the food is good the staff is nice and friendly. The beach is perfect, the water is everything you can imagine. The location of the resort looks secluded but the street has something for everyone: great restaurant, numerous bars, shopping and night life. Our group has two generations and we all have fun as a group and individually. We did not plan to come to this resort we had reservation at Coconut Village on Mapro Island but that “beach”resort only had pools, the water looked like a dirty swamp. Coming here saved our vacation.

My family found Impiana last minute as we were looking for a resort in Patong. They were able to accommodate us with 3 bedrooms and make our vacation perfect! The staff is all very attentive and helpful with anything we need. The resort itself is beachfront, which makes our stay much easier as we don’t have to worry about crossing the street or walking far for beach access. Also very close to a lot of food options and Bangla street!

The Impiana Resort is seriously an oasis in Phuket. I came here on the way to Chinese New Year with my Chinese wife and it was seriously the best bargain we have experienced in Southeast Asia. The perks include a 50% discount for a couples massage with an on-site professional, continuous 20% discounts on food, free water, and a gorgeous view in the midst of a jungle-like atmosphere. The staff was amazingly patient and accommodative to our most ridiculous requests and I have to call out Lookchin and Kang for the most exemplary hospitality. Look no further this is the place you should stay!

First up, very smooth check in. The lady in the reception was ready with our reservation. We already requested for n early check in and reached there at around 11 in the morning. She was happy to guide us to our room. The location is very good and it is one of the reasons why we selected the place. The room is very cosy with an extended portion one can use for changing dress within the bathroom area. The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant, looks like it is within the same compound, but the way is from the main road. The breakfast served is mainly traditional with some other options. The beach has lot of adventure options and in the night if one wants to go for a stroll, it's very nearby. On the last day of our stay I accidentally locked out the electronic safe and the response from the staff was pretty quick to attend it. The pool area has a relaxing ambience.

4 days had a great vacation on the beach near walking street. The staff was friendly and made the trip special. In the morning the staff saw we were getting Mosquitoes bites and ran got us repellent and every morning would bring the spray as soon as we sat down for breakfast.

We stayed here for five nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is strategic (Bangla Road is within reasonable walking distance), there’s direct access to the beach (unlike some other big name hotels in Phuket), and the view at breakfast was unbelievable. We loved the rooms, furnishings and general layout of the place too!
It does get a bit noisy at night, but that’s to be expected when you’re staying in Patong.
Our stay here was a complete dream for me, and my family and I would definitely make a return visit.

There were no umbrellas or chairs on the beach in front of the hotel. But there is pool of hotel in front of beach and can use parasol and chair free. When I sleep in a chair, the sandy beach and the sea are right in front of me. It is a wonderful sight.
pMost of the restaurants in Phuket can cope with any diet requirements and you can pick and choose what you do or do not eat. Hope you have a great time.
