From the time we were greeted by Nam and Pee, the ever smiling Nook on Reception, Sam and crew on cleaning, Vee in the Restaurant at Breakfast and the women who were always at hand to assist- Tawan, Kob, Malprang and Nina, we knew that we had chosen the right property. There was nothing that was too much effort and when my husband was ill Nina’s care and assistance was much appreciated.
The location is second to none, beach front and amongst all the activity if that is what you choose. We will certainly be back to this lovely resort.

The rooms were large and well air-conditioned. Great location. The Ocean View rooms had a good view. The doors on cupboards were missing as were the locks on the bathroom and toilet. Switches were placed at very odd places. Housekeeping did a good cleaning job, but always forgot replenishment of tea, coffee, sugar and at times drinking water.
My main gripe is that the property unilaterally cancelled my original booking and then at then compelled me to rebook at 1.5 times the price. When accosted with facts and proof they first blamed Booking.com, but, when I showed them the correspondence including that of Booking.com, which had gone unanswered, they sheepishly offered to make good by upgrading the room for half the number of days of stay.
The music from the restaurant was loud into the night and was distinctly heard in the rooms upstairs.

Best room choice with indoor hot tub! (Oceanfront suite)

Some deluxe room faced the renovating area.
Slow drains for shower and toilet.
Room service is a bit pricey, use grab app for food 😉

Wifi is everywhere. Wifi can do meetings.
Our Room view is exactly looking at the beach.
Shops nearby and night market beside the hotel(Check out mr sushi guy!)

Our family booked 03 deluxe rooms and was upgraded to the highest category which was informed on arrival. We were really happy with the upgrade, traveling with a small baby and old parents were not easy for us but we felt grateful for the nice gesture.

But once we went inside the room, we found out that the room was not cleaned properly. Behind the curtains had so much of animal poop, the cupboards were not wiped at all, the toilet had so much of stain on it felt like it was not cleaned in forever! When we complained the next morning, sent housekeeping to clean but after that also it wasn’t cleaned properly but we tried to stay calm and enjoy our holiday. In the middle of the night our 3 month old baby started crying too much and had a really bad cold then we checked the air condition which was easily reachable and it was unbelievable!!!! Full of dirt and dust! No wonder why our baby suffered so much in the dirty air that was coming from the AC!! We complained and asked to speak with the hotel manager but was only offered to speak with the front office manager, she was shocked to see the pictures and videos that we took too and was informed that the housekeeping will clean our rooms under her supervision. Ac was cleaned, the stuff behind the curtain were removed, cupboards wiped but the toilet was still disgusting. Our parents bathroom was blocked every day! They sent someone to fix but it was temporary, had to ask to send someone to fix the toilet everyday! I hope the management takes cleanliness and maintain seriously cause in Phuket there are so many nice options at a cheaper price. This is a new hotel but due to the lack of maintenance, it feels old! Only plus point about the hotel is the location. I would like to mention reservation staff Kobs name in assisting us during the reservation stage cause she was great. Front office staff were very helpful

Dear HanaanSiddiq, Thank you for taking time to write a review. First of all, I would like to say apologize as we don't have any room left for you, as you ask us to extended your stay for 3 room. I were very doubt that you didn't satisfied with us. I am sorry if the communication was misunderstanding for your asking to meet Hotel Manager not "The Manager" , seem like the staff assumed to the Front Office Manger. For the cleanliness and all the room had a problems, I understand your frustration and disappointment and please accept my apology. All the best, Narissara Cheevacharoenchai Hotel Manager

Dear Hotel Manager's of Anona beachfront Hotel phuket

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Anona Hotel Beachfront, specifically regarding the junior suite room that I booked. My experience was far from the expectations set by your online representations, and I feel compelled to detail the issues I encountered.

Upon check-in, I was shocked to discover that the room assigned to me was facing the mountain, despite the online description promising a beachfront view. After voicing my concerns, the Duty Manager assured me that I would be relocated to a room closer to the ocean the following day. Reluctantly, I accepted room 311 for the night.

However, this room presented multiple issues: the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were not functioning, and it took half an hour for the staff to resolve these problems. I believe it is the Duty Manager's responsibility to ensure that the room is in good condition before checking in a guest, especially for a suite.

The next day, as promised, I was moved, but the new room was only two doors away on a lower floor and still far from the beachfront. I felt misled and expressed my dissatisfaction, only to be met with a rude and dismissive response from another manager. Her attitude was unprofessional and made me feel as though I was begging for a basic level of service that I had rightfully paid for.

When I asked if I could return to the original room, she informed me it was already taken and suggested, in a sarcastic tone, that I could move again the next day. This is simply unacceptable; the constant packing and moving is not the experience one expects when staying in a hotel of your purported standard.

The issues did not end there, as the Wi-Fi in the new room was also not working. It seems there is a severe lack of quality control and customer service training among your staff. I strongly recommend that the management implement regular room inspections and comprehensive customer service training for all front desk employees to prevent future occurrences of such disappointing experiences.

I hope you take these concerns seriously and work towards improving the services provided at Anona Hotel Beachfront. I look forward to your response and an appropriate resolution to this matter.

Sincerely,
SURIA

I recently stayed at Anona Beachfront in Phuket and had a pleasant experience. The hotel's prime location near Patong Beach is ideal for water enthusiasts, with various water activities easily accessible. Additionally, being just a few minutes' walk from Bangla Road adds a vibrant nightlife element to the stay.

The surrounding area offers a lively atmosphere, making it convenient for those who enjoy beachside entertainment and a range of water sports. The proximity to Bangla Road provides easy access to the bustling nightlife, ensuring guests have diverse options for entertainment during their stay.

Moreover, the hotel's on-site restaurants serve delicious meals, and the spa provides a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. The combination of a great location and convenient amenities makes Anona Beachfront a solid choice for a stay in Patong Beach.

Staying at a good hotel can transform an ordinary trip into an extraordinary experience. From the moment you step into the lobby, a welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for your stay. The check-in process is smooth and efficient, with friendly staff ready to assist you with any needs or questions. The lobby itself is elegantly designed, offering comfortable seating areas where you can relax or plan your day's activities.

The room is an oasis of comfort and style. It’s meticulously clean, with a plush bed that promises a restful night's sleep. Modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a well-stocked mini-bar cater to your every need. The bathroom is equally impressive, featuring high-quality toiletries, fluffy towels, and a spacious shower or bathtub.

Dining at the hotel is a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes, from local specialties to international cuisine, all prepared with fresh ingredients. Breakfast is a highlight, offering a wide selection of options to start your day right, whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light and healthy.

The hotel's facilities add to the overall experience. A well-equipped fitness center allows you to maintain your workout routine, while the spa offers a range of treatments to help you unwind and rejuvenate. The swimming pool is a perfect spot to relax, with comfortable loungers and attentive service.

Throughout your stay, the staff's attention to detail and commitment to excellent service make you feel valued and cared for. Whether you need assistance with booking tours, transportation, or simply have a special request, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. A good hotel experience is not just about the physical comforts but also about the warm and personalized service that makes you feel at home away from home.

Environment is clean, sheets comfy, staff are friendly. Best view of the fireworks from our balcony if not for the overly densed trees.

New year eve party at the coco copper restaurant was extensively planned, good efforts by the resort for the hefty room price paid. Unfortunately it rained and we happened to have sat at the place without a cover and ended up drenched. Had to shift places and our dinner was disrupted. Some buffet prawns were not so fresh too.

Not sure if we did not know how to use the jacuzzi or was it not working- despite filling it with water , it was not bubbling although there was sounds of vibration. Nonetheless sheets and pillows were really comfortable and we all had a good sleep despite continuous fireworks going on till 4am in the morning.

There was a staff who went around door to door to give out new year gift token (chocolates). She knocked on our door & i recalled voicing out I was in the buff not ready to receive her as I was getting ready to shower. Not sure if she could not understand english or she couldnt hear us properly through the door… she went ahead to use the hotel master key to open the door. Luckily we had our door latch on & could only hurry out to wear our bathrobe just to receive her and the small packet of chocolates.

Nonetheless- stay here for the great location and comfortable beds.

We had an oceanfront large room at the Anona but were disappointed in it's layout and amenities. There was seating (hard) out on the large terrace as well as spa however in the room itself there was no seating to be able to comfortably relax aside from sitting on the bed. There was a lot of wasted space and the shower virtually had an entire room to itself but the basin and mirror were in the main area which was not ideal when wanting to do makeup or dress. The buffet breakfast was lacklustre and not very enjoyable for us. The staff were as helpful as they could be but their limited english caused some difficulty when we requested certain things. Being beachfront at Patong Beach it was also very noisy on a constant basis so much so that we cut our stay short and moved to another location.

As we had booked to stay at Anona over the Christmas period we were devastated to find that due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel our booking. It was most interesting to find that the customer service during the booking period was most exemplary, could not have been more helpful. What a different story when we had to cancel. As this booking was made 6 months in advance including car transport from the Airport one would think that out of goodwill a refund would be offered instead silence!! As we have been travelling to Phuket for the last 18 years and have experienced exceptional thai customer service this has certainly been a huge disappointment . we can understand that this is the start of the high season but with six months until the 15th December you would think that a new hotel would be trying to please future customers, but apparently this is not the case! For our next trip to Phuket this Hotel will not register in our mindsfor future bookings. What a disappointment.
