My wife and I just had the most wonderful stay at Skyview Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. Fiew, Aiy, Tam, Ked and Yao were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and eager to assist with anything we needed. We also had the pleasure of attending a complimentary cooking class led by the fantastic team of Tang, Mew, and Flimmy. They were so knowledgeable and passionate, making the class both fun and informative. We learned so much and truly appreciate their expertise! My husband and I usually enjoy a good long morning walk in all the hotels where we have stayed. This hotel however has a very steep long driveway that’s not ideal for a walk, especially for elderly people like us. Also the streets near by are small with busy traffic and no sidewalk. We took the hotel shuttle to Patong beach most days and a Tuk Tuk ride back usually cost 200~300 Baht. Breakfast and service from the hotel are excellent. Ked, Top, even the nice garden man are always friendly and professional, Ked is an exceptional waitress! Almost all the food were freshly made upon ordering, the taste and presentation are high quality. The tourists that stay here were not as loud and obnoxious like other hotels in crowded areas, which’s the reason we booked here. I was quite disappointed with this hotel, especially after being swayed by all the glowing 5-star reviews. Here’s an honest account of my experience:
The Cons: 1. Location Challenges: The hotel is situated on a steep incline, rising approximately 30 meters over a 270-meter stretch (as per my compass). While they do provide a shuttle service to the beach, you’re bound to its schedule. Moreover, all nearby shops are located downhill, meaning you have to navigate the climb every time you need something. 2. Limited Breakfast Options: The breakfast spread was surprisingly minimal for a hotel of this standard. 3. Not a good experience at all while staying in the hotel as we stayed for good 5 nights Extra bed provided was not for an adult but child size making quirky noises Very rude staff Very limited choice in the breakfast compared to our stay in other hotel Above all we got very bad room locations , other rooms very empty ,requested to change but demanded to pay more . And above all no security at night , only one girl at night in the reception , always whenever we asked anything to be delivered in the room they would say there’s no staff. Wow what a great find , slightly outside of town , but a complementary shuttle bus drops you to the beach or shopping area , set up a steep hill , but a very clean modern hotel amazing large bedroom with comfy pillows & beds and the best breakfast ever there’s a buffet and a menu to order from too ! The resort is very beautiful, elegant, and quiet I have booked three days of a two-day bus stay until the last day of my visit is very clean considering it is in the midst of rough plants and I have no room. Our room was a suite overlooking the pool area. It had a large living area with large TV & a good size balcony wjth a rack for drying clothes.
The bedroom was also large with a good comfortable bed & another TV. The ensuite was also a good size, with wardrobe, bath tub, separate shower, twin basins & a toilet.
The food in the restaurant was excellent & the staff very good. The hotel provides a shuttle to the shopping area in town as well as Patong Beach itself. This is a great place to stay!

It's quite a distance away. But the shuttle bus can bring you to take their local blue bus that goes there. It's the cheapest way. Likewise you can write to the hotel and enquire from them. Hope this help to answer your enquiry

Just rent a car. Pick up and return at airport. Toyota Yaris around 1000 bhat a day. Will cover you to and fro and all the sightseeing. Driving is easy and enough parking bays

They both have the same levels. The mountain view are the rooms at the back of the hotel while the ocean ones look over the pool and down to the sea. Would recommend ocean view. The hotel is quiet anyway.
