Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful hotel. I wish I could give it a better review but it had one major problem- weak wifi of which was only available in a section of our rooms (my group had 2 rooms). We were only there for a night so it didn't matter much but it would have been a bigger issue if we needed to work. I hope this was just the case our building.

This is my third visit that I stayed here and the building has definitely seen better days. It’s up a bit from Patong at kalim beach (300 baht drive) They couldn’t find my reservation when I checked in so I was sitting there for quite some time, and another girl at the pool said the same thing Pool is crumbling and so is the rest of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped with good AC , the decor is outdated and mismatched , and falling apart. Bathroom had black mold all over the shower and bathtub 3000 baht deposit for key All in all, stay somewhere else

rented a one bedroom condo. At first glance it looks ok, but once you take a closer look, housekeeping needs to clean all of mirror and go into corners, bathroom not clean... Kingsize bed only comes with 2 pillows. The so called kitchenette has nothing, no coffee maker, no toaster, only 2 coffee cups, nothing else, why would someone want to rent a condo, if you cannot even make a cup of coffee in the morning???? Staff is polite, but just shakes their head..and not helpful.....very disappointed. for that kind of money, there should be extra towels and pillows... Wish someone would have mentioned something like that in a review...

Firstly I'll highly compliment the outstanding service provided by Reception staff and the general cleanliness of the rooms and pool. It does appear that the rooms could do with a slight maintaince touch up but overall very clean and comfortable. I would of happily given our stay here a 4 or 5 star rating but I felt there were a number of small improvements that could be made: 1. Only one set of towels and pillows are provided, additional towels and pillows are charged; 2. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper are given and shower gel was not refilled despite leaving it open in the sink; 3. Limited number of broken or mouldy pool chairs (this is a real shame as the pool and views are spectacular); 4. Adjacent rooftop bar at sister property has limited options and did not serve alcohol. Despite all this, for the value price these are small concessions to make and I would definitely stay here again but hope the Bay Cliff can make those slight improvements for a much more enjoyable stay!

I stayed in a spacious one-bedroom apartment: modern style. There're adequate amenities. However, a fitness room is a bit outdated and few sunbeds at a rooftop pool are decrepit. Nice view from the rooftop but no view at my apartment. It is quite far from Patong beach ; still can walk. The nearest minimart is 200 m away and it needs to walk on the side of busy road; some parts has no footpath, so be careful. Anyway, there're 2 rounds of free shuttles to the beach (one way). Overall it is value stay in the quiet location of Patong and it is good for couples.

Views are simply amazing and housekeeping was good to.. only thing is , it is a bit far from main Patong beach , which mean need to take tutuk to go to main beach area. Overall had great experience

We initially stayed at The Bay Cliff for four nights. We were so happy with the accommodation we stayed for another week. Clean rooms, a short drive to Patong, lots of room for four people, friendly staff and a fantastic 30m pool with views. I highly recommend this property to families!

This property has some good features but it is not a resort. No restaurant, not spa and fitness room is outdated. The hotel staff was helpful but did not help with finding taxi service unless is was there own which was pricy.
