We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in perfect condition. The team members made the real difference, all of them, but we had most interactions with Nan, the butler. She was simply outstanding the way she looked after us. The breakfast crew in Red Sauce was amazing and Cindy and her team in the Ta Khai, Thai Restaurant delighted us whenever we had our evening meals there which was most of the time. I stayed at the Rosewood for 3 nights after a lot of research and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. I was obviously concerned with all the procedures coming to Thailand post Covid direct from Dubai but everything went smoothly and honestly Phuket airport was unbelievably efficient.
The Rosewood dedicated lady collects you from arrival and my transfer was waiting within 5 mins to whisk me off to the hotel and my room where I would quarantine until my PCR results arrived from Phuket airport (within 8 hrs). I had a partial ocean view room which was more like a Suite.
Service was top notch and I was assigned Fred to look after me throughout , he gave me his WhatsApp to be contacted at anytime for anything I required (he was amazing , courteous, helpful all without being intrusive). The rooms were tastefully decorated , spacious and oh so comfortable, the sofa was really dreamy, along with a lovely plunge pool and view to the Sea. My 7 hours in quarantine went quickly with room service (food was great, particularly the tuna tacos). The outdoor bath was also a nice treat.
Things I loved about my stay, the service was faultless throughout , everyone was so kind, with a genuine warmth and happiness to be working at the Rosewood. I love seeing the general manager floating about , shows he is genuinely interested in his guests and Alistair was super friendly in my interactions with him. Breakfast was delicious too a la carte and buffet , with again remarkable service and some great fresh juices and detox shots to go with it!
The property was lush and well thought out, not too big so you could easily get around by yourself or ask for a buggy which were readily available. The restaurants were lovely as were the drinks and the plentiful swimming pools. They have a lovely beach too and just an overall great design to the property. The lobby is the showstopper , so chic and tastefully designed a real wow factor when entering.
The only minor issue I faced was the neighbours leaving their TV on very loud one morning but besides that not a single fault. The weather was a little rainy some days and they helped me find a reasonable priced spa nearby and arranged it all for me.
This was like a sanctuary in Phuket, the proximity to the main part of Patong is also great as well, only 20 mins. Oh and I love it when hotels have someone receiving you even on your outbound journey once you leave the hotel to go to your onward destination , the same lady from Rosewood when I landed escorted us to check in for our next domestic flight to Koh Samui.
Overall great warm stay and would highly recommend staying there, would def come back here in the future!!

We booked last minute and the hotel was very quick to respond with all necessary details even a picture of the person picking us up. Everyone was all smiles and very attentive from the airport when we arrived until at the airport when we were departing. The staff was friendly, attentive and great!
The food at the main restaurant was fresh and delicious. Could do with a little more choice on the menu though 😄 The chef was also very friendly and happy to talk with us.
The hotel is very family friendly; the main pool is a labyrinth of shallow and endless water. The kids club looks amazing. They also have a lot of inclusive activities! Cant wait to bring our son here!
And the spa has a beautiful decor and has a great selection of treatments. It was the most relaxing session ive had!!
We stayed at the sandstone villas with beach view, a bit far if with family but perfect for couples! They provide 24 hours buggy service, so no issues. There was still a few rooms being renovated but they made sure there was no noise pollution.
Cons: (1) at night there were some loud motorcycle noises coming from the beach. But that one short time, (2) hotel is far from patong city, so be prepared. But they do have a little shop.
In all, we enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return.

We were upgraded to an ocean view suite which was beautiful. Not sure if we had been in the rooms we originally booked, if the experience would have been so good. The vegetation is also beautiful around hotel. Jasmine bushes around room entrance.
The main restaurant was odd in that there was no breakfast buffet, a few bits were hidden on shelves behind which were not obviously to take. There was too much roof cover so one did not feel like we were on vacation in the italian restaurant where breakfast was also taken, and muzak played all the time, which did not fit in with tropical location.
The thai restaurant was lovely, but this was jointly owned and people from the outside could dine there too so there was no dress code.
The bar was lovely and the fish restaurant was very pleasant, though more choice of food would have been better and think that breakfast should be served there as it is outside overlooking the pools.

No words can describe how incredible this entire experience and stay at Rosewood was. Aside from being one of the most spectacular properties I have ever seen, specifically Nor, from your sales team and Band our butler have demonstrated the highest level of guest service during our wedding. With the virus happening, many of our guests pulled out all within the last 10 days. However, Nor was extremely understanding and pushed to be flexible with our reduction in numbers in order to ensure our entire experience wasn't marred by the already stressful time. With a 17% reduction to an already not to large wedding, it was saddening for us to have planned so much and we didn't want anything to waste either. Thank goodness for Nor's wonderful understanding (and your entire team). It was such a pleasure to speak to such a friendly, warm, charming member of the Rosewood team from start to end. Go Les Roches ☺️ Band was a wonderful butler that magically appears whenever we need him - we joked about asking Band to move the cruise ship blocking our seaview because of how lovely and helpful he was. The housekeeping team has a wonderful standard of excellence with their turndown service as well with thoughtful moments here and there. Joanna, your new management trainee at Red Sauce was also such a warm delight, we couldn't believe she was only there on her second week! I know for a fact that your staff cannot deliver such genuine and top notch service without an incredible culture and brand commitment to excellence, so thank you to everyone who made this happen. To the amazing Rosewood team whose name I couldn't get, thank you all for the most amazing, memorable wedding weekend. This is not the Patong experience you're looking for if it's loud music and street stalls you're after. We were concerned of the semi-remote location of the hotel at first but after the first 12 hours we really had little desire to leave the peaceful bliss of the secluded beach to brave the chaos of Patong beach. The property is absolutely expansive for the less than 80 rooms that are here, it's a quiet tropical escape from whatever you're looking to leave behind. The property is absolutely stunning, the service impeccable and attentive, and all the staff are professional and kind. The breakfast is not to be missed, the dishes are not only delicious but also very inventive; something of a rarity for hotel breakfasts of any caliber. I would eat at the breakfast restaurant if it were a standalone place around the corner in NYC. Don't forget to get a cocktail while at the pool bar, some of which have won awards and were created by the hotel bartender. I'm convinced there is no better place to stay on all of Phuket. If the Rosewood figured out how to have the sun set over the water in front of the bar, then there would be no better place to stay on this planet.

Was so excited to try the resort having been in lockdown due too Covid for 18mths. The resort is stunning, we stayed in a Beachfront Villa and cant say enough how great this Villa is, private beachfront and lots of room in Villa, every amenity was thought off. Breakfast and dinners were superb and couldn't find any fault.
The most rewarding part of the experience was the STAFF....they were so nice and welcoming and genuine l cant speak highly enough of them all, the concierge called Fresh went above and beyond to fulfil all request. Beds, pillows and linen best l have ever slept in, truly amazing
My only complaint would have been the Spa experience at the hotel, vastly overpriced for the quality of the massage, facial and the experience was very underwhelming for 3hrs and nearly £500 later for 2 of us, this felt a rip off. We went to another spa nearby for 3 hrs and cost £150 for us both for 3 hours and was 1000% better experience and skills.

Kid’s club here is the best from our experiences. There are a lot of meaningful activities, not just let the kid play toys. All Staffs also told the reason, teach the kid to look after the beaches through beach cleaning activity.,planting. We stay there 4 days, The activity’s change everyday. The culinary class, Pizza & Cupcake making also wonderful experience for our little girl. All Chefs & Staff are very kind and gave her a little big treats , so yummy. Thank you all chefs & staff.
Food was delicious , Lot of choices for breakfast. Grilled Tiger prawn and seafood sauce is recommended. Mai bar also nice for chilling dinner too.
Moreover we, especially my kid got a very high attention from all hotel staff. Even staff in Mai bar also come to say happy birthday for my kid in the day after birthday. Also all buggy team. They are So nice to us.
The concierge team done a superb birthday party. It’s the best for us, very smooth and Speedy support. Thank you Khun Jenn, Khun Ann and all team member. I can truly count on them.

Stayed in the beachfront pool villa, which was beautiful but on the smaller side. Breakfast at Red Sauce was excellent, and the water activities (kayaking, snorkeling, standup paddleboarding) were fun and convenient. However, the concierge wasn't very helpful when we asked about off-premise activities, such as windsurfing, which is contrary to my experience at other high-end properties. Also, even though they have postcards in the room, I guess they don't expect anyone to actually use them, as when I asked the staff to mail some for me, they seemed a bit taken aback and had to get back to me after checking the stamp rates (which ran up to 1000+ bhat per card). I found this odd, as other properties that provide postcards have always mailed them for me for free. For over USD2000 a night, you would think they could do that for you (or not have them in the room at all). Also, the outdoor slippers, hats and beach tote are apparently to be used on the property only and shouldn't be taken. I think this fact should be noted in a clearer way, since I probably wouldn't have used them if I knew they were being reused. The Frette sheets were great though, as were the robes (which were not in stock in the giftshop, sadly).

The beach is situated in a bay and is far away from one of the top beach in Phuket.
If the beach is your priority I wouldn’t recommend this resort.
For me it wasn’t an issue, Rosewood has a truly stunning poolarea situated by the beach.
And also the beach is very clean and not so overcrowded.
Its also close to several other public beaches nearby.
There are more places to choose from in the Patong area.
