We have never returned to the same hotel twice, until we found the Rosewood Phuket. And whilst I don’t want to share our secret haven it feels only fair to the incredible team of staff to shout about its wonders. Tim Lee (Hotel Manager) and his team have created the most wonderful holiday paradise; luxury so understated but so perfectly on point. A service so personal I want to write thank you letters in abundance to each and every one of the staff who feel like friends. The sort of service that remembers your drink order from day one and anticipates when you might be thirsty the next. The hotel, as you would expect, is beautiful. The facilities are endless. The staff are just the most warm and caring team that we genuinely miss when we leave. Over the past three years and with three trips in tow, many have remained the same, a testament to Tim and the Rosewood Phuket family. The problem is, there is nowhere quite like it and whilst we wouldn’t choose to return to Phuket time and time again, the Rosewood Phuket just cannot be rivalled. As a family, with a small child (now 3) we are able to have a wonderful, sophisticated adult break with everything our son could dream of. A balance we have yet to find anywhere else. We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in perfect condition. The team members made the real difference, all of them, but we had most interactions with Nan, the butler. She was simply outstanding the way she looked after us. The breakfast crew in Red Sauce was amazing and Cindy and her team in the Ta Khai, Thai Restaurant delighted us whenever we had our evening meals there which was most of the time. The room is comfortable and housekeeping did a great job twice a day. Thank you

We had a fantatistic, 10/10, weekend at the Rosewood Phuket in November. Our stay culminated our nearly 3-week belated honeymoon trip across Southeast Asia. We were originally at a different Phuket property and moved here after being a bit disappointed (a different "5-star" hotel that didn't quite feel 5 star). Needless to say - the Rosewood was exactly what we were looking for, and more, and we only wish we'd stayed here from the start of our time in Phuket (but made the most of our remaining days there!). The property is absolutely stunning. Villas are beautifully appointed and generous in size. Restaurants are delicious with varied options - all wonderful. The Thai restaurant along the water was a particularly memorable meal. The staff are next level, beginning with our butler, Tokyo. He took care of everything and anything before we could even think to ask - from ferrying my husband to an off-property ATM, to making sure we got a spa reservation despite the last minute request and hotel at full occupancy, to special and kind surprises celebrating our honeymoon, and more. I can only repeat what has been written in a previous reviews, however this is a very good sign of repeatability of high standards in each element of a guests satisfaction ! Great location - far enough from crowdy and loudly Patong beach, in a quiet bay with almost empty beach. Villas are spacious and luxurious. They have everything what they shoud have, including silent and efficient A/C and wifi. All restaurants at the resort are superb ! However the strongest element of unforgettable stay are people working at the resort. Starting from our butler Fang, who was available 24/7 and always accepting our changes of the original itinerary with a smile :). But all other people starting from gardeners, buggy drivers, pool staff, housekeepers were super professional and all the time greeted us with a natural smile. Is there anything to be improved ? Yes:) We stayed in villa no. 12. Just next door to the pool area. Dear Management of Rosewood, please move away (ideally to Fitness Area) the basketball board which is very loudly when someone plays basketball. Also spa is good, but not a super good. Especially design of a spa house which reminds more amethyst shop, than quiet and relaxing spa house. But we will come back as ratio of excellent/good things vs things to be improved is like 98:2 :)…

🌴 Celebrating our silver anniversary, we chose to spend 2 nights of our week-long family trip at the Rosewood Phuket, staying in a Beachfront Pool Villa. We're excited to share our experiences and insights to assist fellow travelers. Praiseworthy Positives: 🌟 Beach Bliss: The sandy beach, with its clear waters, offered a delightful setting. The available water activities added to the fun and excitement. Villa Comforts: Our Beachfront Pool Villa, though not directly facing the beach, was luxurious and well-appointed. Service Excellence: The staff's attentiveness and hospitality were commendable, ensuring a memorable stay. Culinary Delights: The breakfast and tea served at the resort were exceptional. The variety and quality of the dishes, along with the flavorful teas, made our mornings truly delightful. Sweet Indulgence: The passion fruit ice cream is a must-try and comes highly recommended for its unique and refreshing taste. Points to Ponder: 🤔 Room View: While the villa was exquisite, we couldn't directly view the beach, sunrise, or sunset from the bedroom, which could have added to the charm. Partially Pleasing: 😌 Room Configuration: The separation between the living area and the bedroom, while not problematic, felt slightly inconvenient. We’ve been to Phuket a few times but this was without a doubt the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Our room was a Partial Ocean View Pool Pavilion for 3 nights and we couldn’t be happier with it. Breakfast had a lot of variety with a superb quality, the team was really nice and always with a smile to welcome us. We loved the amenities that they provided during the whole stay for free (snacks by the main pool, drinks in our villa, etc). The lobby area is one of the most aesthetically pleasing we’ve ever seen, absolutely gorgeous 😍 The main pool area is equally beautiful and just a few steps away from the beach, what else you could ask for right? We also tried the Thai restaurant during our stay and the food was one of the best we had in Thailand, so so yummy 😋 highly recommend you to try the Tom Yum Soup and the Pad Thai. In June 2023, I checked into the Partial Ocean View Pool Villa at Rosewood Phuket. Tucked away within the secluded and picturesque Emerald Bay along Phuket’s southwestern coast, the 71-key beachfront property is a short drive away from the buzzy Patong nightlife and dining area - Phuket’s most famous attraction - and 90 minutes from Phuket International Airport. ROSEWOOD PHUKET The resort’s 71 pavilions and villas are organised in themed clusters (I stayed at the “Treeline” cluster near the “Sandstone” and “Lake” sections), all connected by meandering pathways which cut through the dense jungle foliage and connect the hilly areas to the stretch of beach below. The arrival pavilion - one of the resort’s highest points - sets a suitably grand stage for your stay with its stunning views of the Andaman Sea, while the hotel’s dining concepts are all located near the beach on the resort’s lower levels. In terms of wellness, Rosewood’s signature wellness concept Asaya offers a variety of physical treatments and therapies alongside wellness consultations and bespoke fitness classes such as Muay Thai and Yoga. Elsewhere, set within a lush landscape, the freeform swimming pool is divided into different sections, with a longer stretch for swimming laps as well as various pockets of shallow water for the little ‘uns. The tykes who prefer non-aquatic fun can amuse themselves at the Rosewood Explorers kid’s club, while adults looking for a sweatier form of entertain can visit the state-of-the-art fitness centre. Boutique space The Gallery is available for those who want some added glamour at the beach or souvenirs to remember the stay by. PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW POOL VILLA Boasting a private plunge pool and cabana as well as a spacious outdoor terrace with partial ocean views over the Andaman Sea, the 211sqm one-bedroom Partial Ocean View Pool Villa is quite possibly one of my favourite villas ever stayed at, playing more like an urbanite’s sophisticated residence which just happens to be near the ocean rather than something quite as pedestrian as temporary accommodation. Generous splashes of white - from marbletop tabletops and flowy sheer curtains to whitewashed objets d'art - lend a touch of classiness, while the bedroom is elegantly appointed with warm alcove lighting as well as Thai artworks and artefacts which give the space luxurious penthouse feels. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom overlook the villa’s sun-drenched garden courtyard as well as the outdoor terrace. I noted that my pillow cases were embroidered with my initials. The pantry offers Nespresso coffee and tea-making facilities, with tea bags from Thai brand Voyage. The minibar is stocked with bottled Negroni, Martini and Manhattan cocktails from The Everleigh Bottling Co, a selection of bottled and canned drinks and beers, Chalong Bay rum, Johnnie Walker Blue Label whiskey as well as Taittinger champagne. The cavernous bathroom offers more wardrobe space than you possibly need, double vanities, a shower room with a rainfall shower as well as a beautiful courtyard with a deep soaking bathtub and rain shower. Exceptional property with lots of attention to details and a noticeable focus on sustainability. The staff were impeccable and very attentive to our needs (known and unknown!). The food was outstanding including the Thai restaurant which had an amazing Thai village ambience. The pool was also lovely and never felt crowded. There are also ample water sports and excursion options. Simply amazing property and staff! Our butler Tokyo was exceptional.

Rosewood is the most magical resort, and my husband and I truly had one of the best nights of our life here! The beach is beautiful and feels like a private oasis, the food and restaurants are absolutely delicious, and the spa was incredible!! I surprised my husband for his 30th birthday with a private dinner, and it was a night we will cherish and remember forever. The entire room decor and set up was stunning, the food was absolutely divine, and we danced the night away - but truly the most special part was the entire Rosewood team- thank you so much Chef Luca, Kanokwan, Mew, Boouthong, Anne, and Nun.
