The Resort is so big that occupy 60 hectares of land. It has all the amenities to entertain one who loves to be isolated from any distraction. It has the Spa, Swimming Pool, Play Ground and Sport Area. River Kwai the famous river, is the main attraction in the area that give one a good adventure place to explore and...

We were there for a church retreat. Great landscaping and good bungalow accommodations for the price. Some bungalows are undergoing renovations and the spa and massage have been closed, but this place is huge! No cable TV, but walking about is enjoyment enough. Very mice staff and many with good English. The meals (buffet style) were quite good with a...

Having travelled some seriously stressful hours from Bangkok my Wife and i were looking forward to our stay at the legacy river kwai resort. The resort was great, really well laid out and the staff were extremely helpful. Unfortunately the hot water does not run hot in many areas of Thailand at all and it would appear that our room...

We arrived on Saturday 05 October 2013, after driving around Kanchanaburi for 2 hours looking and asking where it was. It is actually 35 Kms from the town centre, in the middle of nowhere. We had our grandchildren with us, and they had to sleep on the floor as there were no beds available for children. The food in the...

My husband and l decided to venture out to explore the Kanchanaburi area before heading to Phuket. We booked in at The Legacy River Kwai through our holiday club but had to find our own way there from Bangkok. Our porter at Siam@Siam organized for a taxi driver to take us there. We agreed upfront with the taxi driver to...

First – the Legacy Resort should actually be considered more of a Retreat than a Resort. This is not a party place, it is a park full of log cabins with a central reception and restaurant. If you do not like nature, do not come here, because this is something different for those who want a truly Nature-filled experience in...

The grounds and area is beautiful but don't go unless you have your own transportation! The spa was not in service when I was there. It seemed like a lot of big tour groups were coming and going. The hotel restaurant was nice but it is open air so lots of bugs!
