Stay here for 2 nights. Room is clean but facilities seems little bit old. Breakfast is limited but the view from restaurant is really beautiful. Staffs are really helpful. Room service is good. Price for foods is acceptable. Foods are good.

Stay for two nights at non pool rooms, first disappointed was that no public pool. and second shock was that hotel guests are not allowed to go out and explore the area due to Dogs attacks. Hotel is far from any shop/ store. Room was clean and equipped with all required stuff. Staff was nice and helpful. Unfortunately no tour operator desk at hotel and we struggled to book our day trip to river. Over all hotel is quite boring as no games like ping pong or other guest activities like bar available.

Now we have stay at The Vista Pool Villa again First i will say we still love the hotel but there is something counting down this time. The Counting down 1. We have the "private pool villa number 6", and have look forward to use the Jacuzzi in the pool but this not work and the can not to fix, all full so no chance for get another room. The pool was ok clean but they also change the water everyday 1. day i was hope it was for fix the Jacuzzi but no no, next morning have dead bird in , they say it was therefore they change again, but every morning the water was little green, maybe it was not only the jacuzzi have problem. But it was ok when change water just 2-3 hours can not use the pool. Because Jacuzzi not work it has been good with some compensation. 2. We ordered food from the restaurant, the Thaifood was okay but the international food not good, i ordered Beef Steak rare, it come with little salad little french fries what is nornal in Thailand, but the steak was 2 little pcs. one was thin and more than welldone the other very fat it was rare but like cewing gum, I think they should put up the price little and choose better quality meat. And make new menu where the include the service charge and the tax it bothersome to calculate the price your self. ---- The good things The staff very very friendly and everymorning the manager go around and talk with all the guest, the room clean and you have some softdrink water coffee tea and some snacks for free in the room. The rooms are big and equipment is use but not bad at all. there is a large fridge. BEFORE BOOKING You have to know this hotel, is far about 10 km from Kanchanaburi, so if you not come with your own car/scooter you need taxi for go it cost you about 200-300 bath each way. But that the price you pay for stay in nature with no traffic noise. The hotel offer you free shuttle to the 7-11 on the main road so you never out of something. You need to choose you room carefully because you will the get what you like Superior room is only if you just have hotel for sleep, but you all day and evening with travel around Then you can choose the deluxe pool villa there the pool villa have step so can be little difficult for play and swim. The water fall pool villa, seems not to have this steps but i am not 100% sure The Garden pool villa is nice you have no steps and very private have like Water fall and deluxe pool villa walls around pool so you have your own home and have chair and table so you can sit outside and eat. the room also bigger than the deluxe pool villa and waterfall villa. Deluxe, waterfall and garden poolvilla very good choice if you want to play with example balls in the pool the walls all around do so you not loose you ball. The private pool villa and sunset villa, you need to think little more about, it is very very nice big and the pool also big with jacuzzi if it works. But if you or the family not like the sun, and like to stay outside all day this villa is not for you. From about 10 to about 18 you will have the have the sun all places some where shadow but sunbed can not to be moved and no umbrella to cover you, we missing some chairs and little table there can be moved to the shadow. because of mountain view it can be difficult to play with example a ball in the pool because if fall out you need to call the staff. You have own parking with roof so shadow for the car. - My best advice If you want to stay near town and restaurant (there is no one nearby) then not choose this hotel i see some complain about it is far away from town and nothing near. But this is not the hotels fault but the one book without check the area they book in. I will for sure come again but i will not choose the private pool villa, the best choice is for sure the Garden pool villa, good size and a pool where you can swim and play all day because the wall make shadow.

The Good: - Large room with private pool at reasonable price - Friendly staff The Bad: - Poor water heating system causing shower temperature to fluctuate, it'll either get too hot or two cold every 30 seconds. - Pillows were really smelly, like it wasn't properly wash and dried (got it exchanged) - Comforter was of poor quality (hard, probably low thread count) - Our unit doesn't have shaded parking - Limited breakfast - Work desk area doesn't have power outlet - Limited closet area despite the room size, if you open the bathroom door, the closet cannot be accessed since it share the same sliding door (prime example of design over function) - No key card system, still have to fumble over those two keys into the room (outer door and inner door) The Noteworthy: - Lights in the bathroom was extremely dim and depressing (unless you grew up with dimly lit lantern and like this kind of light) - Pool water was really cold. Good on a very hot day, useless if you are one of those people used to heated pool. - Hotel has very little facilities - Location is a bit odd as it was built inside a small housing community. The Verdict: Not an upscale hotel by any mean, some people will hate it but some might love it. I didn't plan on using any hotel facilities, so it was OK for me.
