Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small, value for money, but u get a lot more than u pay for. Room was huge. Nice pool. Nice staff. I highly recommend it. The place has a lot of character. It’s a wee bit away from all the noise and touristy stuff. Walkable. Very close to the beach.

Evergreen is the perfect hotel if you prefer a small quiet hotel where you feel like you are important to the staff and fellow guests. A shared breakfast with a small number of guests has you chatting like old friends in no time. While I was there I exchanged email addresses the an Irish couple whose son and thai family also enjoyed the hotel. I talked business opportunity with a lovely Fin and his family who we will meet again. I shared breakfast with some lovely Chinese people celebrating Chinese new year. A 5 minute walk to the beach, palace and restuarant while a 100 bht tuktik ride gets you to the Wharf restaurants makes it well located dispite the funny but quirky little Soi it occupies. Golf is always an option from this hotel. The WiFi excellent throughout which is a rarity in Thailand. All the rooms are huge.

It was my time at Hua Hin, and I have read about the place through other reviews. The Evergreen Boutique is tucked away in a quiet corner and the staff attending to you are friendly and provide a personal touch. We had a very good stay in the hotel. A great place to stay for peace and tranquil environment. A short walk to the beach, but will need to take a taxi, which the staff will gladly arrange, to get to Hua Hin central where the markets and night markets are located. Overall, a great experience and thanks to the staff, who were very helpful.

By time of writing the hotel is run by the staff. The former owner John has died in an accident. Spacious rooms with air con but no window to open! The only fresh air you'll get comes from the bathroom vent. An appealing inner zone surrounded by the rooms (you hear clients passing by). The hotel is located nearly 15 min from city centre in a quiet area close to many restaurants and beach side locations of good to high quality. We've had some mosquitos in our room and the only solution for this was spraying. For us Robert (the interim manager), and owner of "A Roma Wine+Beer Lounge" (in centre of Hua Hin) was of good help in booking, and organising from rooms, golf and transportation. As he was always our first contact for any questions what and where to go in Hua Hin. For Robert we are rating 5 star, for the hotel the 3 star average will be a fair value.

Huahin is the best place for hotels, with cheap rates and beautiful grounds everywhere. We stayed in 3 different hotels on our trip, Ayrest, Evergreen, and De La Paix. Ok, the location is not the best, there are no shuttle buses because they changed management, or so we were told by the grumpy lady who was the receptionist, housekeeping, chef, and concierge. We asked her how much it cost to get a cab to the night market, which was about 15 min away on foot. She called a driver and told us 150baht and the driver would be here in 15 mins. We told her we would rather walk, and she cursed at us in Thai while giving us the most evil look. I guess because we weren't white guys, we weren't all that welcome. Whoever that woman was, she was quite nasty. The Wi-Fi was dead, the pool was smaller than a fish pond, the entire place is depressing. On the bright side, the aircon was really good, the room was spacious with interesting ornaments and furniture, and the water was hot. The bed was quite hard. Oh we asked for a twin room but there wasn't one, so my friend had to sleep on the couch which she said was quite comfy. Breakfast was... Nothing exciting. Overall Ayrest was a better value for money, and de La Paix the best hotel in Huahin.

This is a small 8 bedroom Boutique hotel, it is aimed at golfers but non-golfers are just as welcome. We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the place. The ladies cook you a nice breakfast to order each morning. The room is cleaned daily and is quiet large and spacious. Cable TV, dvd players, good shower etc. There is a pool which doesn't get hot as it is in the shade most of the day, which really makes it refreshing after a game of golf or shopping. Staffed 24/7. No food except breakfast, but there is some great Thai restaurants within 5min walk or catch a tuk tuk into town which is literally 5mins away Big thank you to Robert and the ladies for making us feel welcome and looking after us so well.

To say John loves golf would be an understatement. His 8 junior suite rooms are all named after famous golf courses, even his son is called Seve! Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, 300 metres from the beach, and a 10-15 min walk to town, or 5 mins in hotel's Tuk Tuk. Staff are friendly and aim to please. Nice Thai beach front seafood restaurants close by(Living Room, Ban Itsara and Baan Khrai Wang and John is the perfect host for golf games - he even let me win once! Recommended for golfers or non golfers seeking a quiet base, close to town to explore Hua Hin and surrounding area.

As a non-golfer this is a great hotel to stay in. I was tempted to give it full score but only small things made me land on a 4/5 score. Pros: Cheap, very big room, good breakfast even for late sleepers, small bar 24/7,friendly staff, quick replies on email, clean, own tuk-tuk that drives you to town for free, good beds, english channels on tv,free wifi, nice lobby area and a small pool. Cons: A bit far from town center, very low pressure in the shower, cheap bathroom ameneties, wifi a bit slow and on and off, a bit noisy air condition. But all in all its a great place to stay, i would stay again when in HH. This place has a good atmosphere and the staff seems very happy to work here and that reflects the the thinking of the owner. Thumps up :)
