Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have stayed at this hotel every time I am in Thailand and this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. It is very comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to its location it nice and quiet for sleeping but it's also not far from the available activities and entertainment and the golden sandy beach. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Family stay for an initial 8 days but liked it so much we added a few extra nights. A very pleasant landlady along with her staff. Although the accomadtion isnt flash, its very clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and toast in the morning was a nice touch. Free wifi along with pool table. Just 1 negative . . . dont play the house keeping girl as shes a pool hustler lol Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you

Originally booked for three days at Xmas time but decided to come back again to see in the New Year there too? Why? Probably the main reason is that you are one of the family and not a room number. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is good - European or Thai . Drink not expensive. Rooms are comfortable and good value for money. Ticked all the boxes and will return for sure.

Just wanted to thank Tam, Ann and the staff at the Celtic Inn for another wonderful stay over Xmas and New Year's. The Celtic Inn makes their guests feel like family with their everyday hospitality and their Xmas and New Year's party's. The hotel is at a great location to access Hua Hin's beautiful beach, many restaurants and fun nightlife.

We just got off the train and was wondering around. The price for rooms were reasonable, clean and the air con was put on before we got to the room, so it was nice and cool. The manager and his wife are a great couple and made everyone feel welcome. Nice enough place.

Just spent my 2nd xmas in a row at the Celtic Inn. The location is perfect on a fairly quiet street but only a very short walk to all the restaurants and nightlife that Hua Hin has to offer. The room was on the 2nd floor and was spacious enough with all the amenities you need and a large comfortable bed. Tam the owner is a great guy and will always have a beer with you whilst chatting about anything and everything and will give you advice on anything Hua Hin. Tams wife is a great cook and serves up a fantastic full English aswell as really tasty meals. All the staff are very friendly and cheerful. For the price, you cant go wrong staying here!

The price for a one night stay was inexpensive. more like a "short time hotel" than a place for a holiday. Reception; none, just a section of the bar counter, the whole downstairs is a bar No recognizable parking area but the manager moved some motorcycles so I could park outside the front. Very basic rooms, yes everything there but ages old. The mattress must be 20 years old, the colour scheme from a horror movie. Sheets clean, TV from 1970's, Yes, close to beach and bars but very downmarket.

Stayed 4 nights and had no complaints. Good size rooms with fridge, cable t.v, a/c, and cleaned each day. Our room at the back also had a small balcony. Great location in the main tourist block. The night market just a few minute's walk which is a great place to stroll around. The train station is just a few more minute's walk further on. Tam, the owner is a great guy to have a beer with and has all the info about the area.
