This resort is amazing in all aspects. The grounds are lush and full of flowers, and the waterways have beautiful fish. I was upgraded to a bungalow, and it was pure heaven. Each bungalow is a separate building (that means no noise from neighbors), and the BATHTUB was very deep and comfy. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and respect of...

A beautiful resort that makes you feel like you're far away from even Chiang Rai. Breakfast was delicious and definitely worth getting up for. The rooms were very nice- I stayed in the big building, but I can imagine the bungalows were even better. One of the quietest places we stayed in Thailand- away from the bustle of the city...

The resort is very nice and quiet. However the girls staffs at lobby were not friendly at all. But the guys who drove us to our rooms were nice and very helpful. The rooms are good but the sheets are too old and the beds are too hard. The shower is very strong, I like it but it is difficult...

The Phowadol is a nice place for a respite from all the craziness in the cities. The hotel is in a quiet area of Chaing Rai but you can take their van shuttle to any place you need (80 bhat / $2.24 US) and than grab a tuk tuk back. The Hotel was only a short ride to center of...

After the hectic experiences in big cities like Bangkok, staying here is perfectly relaxing. Great, cabin-like rooms with so-so working wifi. Interior is nice and facilities in great shape. The pool is big and quiet and the overall resort is well maintained. We also had a buffet style dinner which was a bit disappointing as there wasn't so much choice...

Comfortable rooms, descent wifi, so so restaurant for dinner. Resort is ok, but the location isn't. Hotel offers shuttle service (not free) to Chiang Rai centre. Breakfast is basic, but ok. Good thing about the location is that it's quiet.

Phowadol Resort and Spa covers a decent amount of space with a high-rise building, several 2-story abodes and multiple cottages, some set in their own "village" area. we arrived at night and lighting is minimal. fortunately i always bring some small but powerful LED flashlights. The cottage is easy to look into so it is a must to draw the...

Stayed for 2 nights while on tour of Thailand. Our group was upgraded to individual cottages. They were very comfortable and roomy. Beds were very good as well. Their buffet breakfast was very good and offered a wide selection of food. Would recommend this place.

Some kind of business meeting was using up most of the main building, so my husband and I got upgraded to a cottage at the last minute. The room we were given was spacious, with very attractive Asian décor including a desk, armoire, carved wooden couch, and an almost life-size erotic painting adorning the sliders between the bedroom and bath....

We stayed in a charming little bungalow for two nights. It was very comfortable. The other people in our group had problems adjusting the A/C (they were freezing), but ours worked fine. The resort was not close to anything, but that did not matter to us. The breakfast, however, was not so good. It was not stocked well and the...

“Depends on what you're after. Regular rooms are located in a hotel setting. Cottages are situated around a pond with a tinkle of a waterfall. Higher floors always offer more privacy. Not much height here. Hallways are well worn and not a reflection of the rooms.”
