Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visit Chiang Rai from time to time and this time we looked for a place where we could bring our dog. With 2 dogs of their own B & B Chiang Rai welcomes guests with dogs.

Having experienced the wonderful service of the Thai university student who manages the place, combined with the beautiful rooms and gardens, we plan on making this our default accommodation for Chiang Rai.

I rarely give 5* - this is the exception that is really worth it.

On a practical note: when you come by car, make sure that you have a GPS that knows the B & B.

When I booked the hotel, I didn't realize I was booking a place hidden in the mountain vs. downtown Chiang Rai. Though I spent only 2 nights there, I was still able to appreciate the peace and beauty of the area and admire the splendor of the villa. The garden is huge. The breakfast is super nice, tasty and we were cordially offered fresh fruit juice, tea and fruit. We were told to help ourselves to use the coffee maker at any time. The room is definitely worth the value. The owner is normally abroad but happened to be around during our stay. She offered quite some help to make our stay pleasant. Some tips for one to know so as to really enjoy -
1. It is very close to the airport. From bus station, it is about 30 min drive. Take a taxi and if the driver use the meter, the cost is between 120-150 Baht. Normally a Chiang Rai taxi driver won't refuse to use the meter. However, try to get road directions in Thai from the hotel owner in advance. Chiang Rai people, friendly though, don't speak much English.
2. To schedule the next day's activities, you need to book a driver in advance. Otherwise, you won't be able to get out on the road the moment you have an idea. I have been in contact with 2 taxi drivers. They are both honest and punctual. One of them came all the way from the city to take us to the airport at 7:25 am without prepayment and he only turned on meter after he had me.
I would say that the stay is one of the attractions of my Chiang Rai visit.

I stayed there for over a month and I became like family.
The area is away from the city noise and pollution and close the University facilities.
The place is well kept, clean, tidy and bright.
You will find high quality in everything... bed, linen, food and mostly the personnel.

Beautiful large room with bathroom, cable tv and balcony. The surrounding area and views were outstanding. A little far from the city but taxis are available. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Tucked away in a quiet village suburb north of Chiang Rai city is this welcome oasis. The house is stunningly designed, views breathtaking of the nearby mountains and rooms beautifully appointed. This is a quiet getaway where you can experience the traditional community of northern Thailand. The staff are friendly and more than helpful and can happily arrange taxi services to the city (some 20 minutes away) where you can enjoy the night bazaar and famous Saturday night walking street market. Overall a perfect stay.

A Wonderful quiet location in a beautiful house which is very well kept and clean and tidy. The hospitality there was very good from the moment i walked through the door i was shown to my lovely room which had AC an on suite and a balcony with good views.
There was breakfast provided the following day which was delicious. you were welcome to use the communal/dining area downstairs and you could help yourself to freshly ground coffee when ever you liked.
There was good WIFI which only worked outside of the rooms.
They were in the process of building an outside pool whilst i was there for future visitors.
If I'm in the area i would defiantly stay there again.
