Bura resort was so great. Really hidden jam in a jungle near the city. The forest atmosphere is amazing . Room is clean and comfortable. I make it feel like living in 5 stars hotel. I also like the way the room decorated inside and outside, tropical garden and sound of the waterfall. Even though it ls jungle living I could not find any insect!! Animal I found is only cute little cat. Food is great tool and atmosphere is amazing. This is family own business. All family member are there waiting you with smile . I am sure to be there again :)
I was blown away by this resort. I had my own large villa. The owner is the architect of the entire resort. Wherever I needed or wanted to go Nui (co-owner) and wife along with Hannah the resort manager drove me. This is in an area called Ban Du. Every morning I woke up and opened the door I was looking at small waterfalls and surrounded by trees. Breakfast is free and delicious. The resort is on your way up a mountain and full of tropical flowers and water falls. The next time I go I would like to rent car but a friend loaned my a small motorcycle. There are plenty of places to rent scooters. I had dinner and lunch at some incredible restaurants. They are about 6 villa and 3 houses to rent out. I wanted to cry when I left!
This was my second stay at Bura. It is a wonderful resort. The garden sting is fabulous. We found the staff most accommodating and helpful. Room and accompanying bathroom are huge. It is in a hillside so be cautious if you have trouble walking and climbing stairs, otherwise do spend a night or two at this delightful resort.
What an absolute amazing place to stay up in the jungle surrounded by nature. Would love to visit for longer if we make it back to Chiang Rai what a great place to go! Very attentive staff and absolutely gorgeous food.
I have stayed in many hotels & home stay villas but Bura Resort is without doubt the most tranquil beautiful resort l have seen in Thailand. The attention to design of each villa is fantastic, the rooms are very large each with air con, big couch, large bath & large shower. Bed was soft king size with 4 soft pillows. Our room was very clean except for the stain on the couch (hmmm?). Needless to say we did not sit on it. Breakfast is slow & very basic, l hope the chang to something more appetising. The lush gardens with ponds & water falls are supplied by fresh water from a natural stream. The design & beauty leaves you with a feeling of total peace. Yes, it's a little out of the way & you need a car & google to find this place but worth the effort. If your looking for total relaxation with magnificent t surroundings then l suggest Bura Resort could not be beaten. …
