This is a great little gem of a hotel. It is located right off of Hwy 131, 9km from the White Temple and 4km from the Chiang Rai night bazaar. The grounds are immaculate and the pool was great after a long day of doing the touristy thing. I opted to include breakfast with my stay and I was very pleased with what was offered. The kitchen is also open for lunch and dinner. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, I know that I will definitely be back.

We stayed 2 days in Chiang rai Homestay as 3 families with 4 kids. The place is wonderful, not far from city centre. The owner, Patty, is awasome, she 's a great host but she's kepping the place nice and was always here for us for us when we needed. She speaks good english, she prepare good dinners too, we all enjoyed our trip

We stayed for 4 days and it was great. A really relaxing place outside the city. But they provide shuttle service to town and a tuk tuk cost about 150 bath. There are a lot to see in the area. Tony and his wife are very helpsom and nice. Try the spring roles they are delicious 😊 We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful garden and pool, delicious breakfast and dinner. Perfect location set about 15 minutes from town and great tours offered around the local area. We hired bikes from here and they gave us a map. The owner kindly drove us to the airport. We had a deluxe bungalow and it was incredible.

Recently I stayed in the Homestay Chiang Rai, owner Toony de Kroon. I could rent one of his bikes together with a navigation system. The first day I biked in the surroundings of the Homestay and visited the big White Temple. The route was perfect to follow with the navigation system. The second day I started a bike tour of three days which Toony made by himself. I biked to Chiang Saen, through the country, rice fields, rubber plantations etc etc. Really great to do. In the beginning of the afternoon I arrived in Chiang Saen, in a nice perfect hotel at the border of the Mekong River. After lunch I biked along the Mekong river to the Golden Triangle and spent the rest of the day on that spot. There is a lot to see. You can cross the river to Laos if you want. Also the House of Opium is nice to visit. The second day I biked along the Golden Triangle and arrived at the end of the morning in Mae Sai, at he border with Birma/Myanmar. I had lunch there and spent several hours in this really nice border town. If you want you can cross the border to visit Myamar. There is a lot to see and there is a big market. After leaving I had to bike to the next hotel. The Silamanee resort and spa hotel. A great stay, nice cabins, a very nice swimming pool, very relaxing. The next morning after a great breakfast I took my bike an biked trough the country, the rice fields ,the great budha to Chiang Rai and to the Home stay Chiang Rai. The route Toony made is very good to follow on the navigation system, I did not lose my way, the route is very quiet, most of the time there are a few cars, so its very easy to bike. Only the seocnd day there is al little hill, after the golden triangle point most of the time is is really good to bike, it is flat and sometime a little bit hilly. The only thing you have to remember is to bike on the left site of the way. I can recommend everybody this perfect three days bike trip.
