This hotel is rather old however the bungalows are very spacious and it has a very nice pool.We usually go on a Sunday night and they have live music good food and there is a pool table if you enjoy a few drinks and a game of pool.A limited breakfast is included in the price. The staff are very polite...

Most people wouldn't consider staying in Mae Chan as it's not far south of the border town of Mae Sai and only 32 kilometers north of Chiang Rai. Having just biked from Mae Salong however, it was a real pleasant surprise to find this attractive resort on the edge of the town. The grounds are very extensive and heavily wooded...

Because I was driving a 2WD car on a 'road' that actually requires a 4WD I got stuck not far from Mae Chan and needed a hotel for a night. The Rimchan Resort looks good and its location is good, especially when you like to enjoy a massage, as there are many establishments offering this service in the immediate neighbourhood....
