Really nice, especially when the sea breeze shows up. Super quiet and relaxing within an hour from Bangkok. Would deserve a better mattress and bedsheets and I'd go there once a month for a week end retreat. Wouldn't recommend this place if you do not have your own mode of transportation.

you need the phone number for call and you can give the taxi driver or tuk tuk driver talk with the reception . this place in really it is easy to fine if you are the local or thai people who come to cholburee before . it is use the same way to go to bangsan beach . and go after to angsila the famuch fisher man village and the entrance of this resort is ofposite with the very famuch and big of naja china wat .... í;m recomment it ....

This resort is beautifully located in a lush tropical garden overlooking the sea. The bungalows are nicely built and match well with the natural environment; the room and bathroom offer everything you need, except a closet to hang your clothes.
The swimming pool although small is really nice and the view from it is spectacular, but no long chairs by the pool to relax :(
Regarding the breakfast, it's quite horrible, the worst breakfast I had in recent times.
As for the reception staff is concerned, they are inefficient, unhelpful, lazy and even giving you false information...the management needs to do some urgent training.
Happy to know this resort but I won't go back.

We were in this resort for our honeymoon. We chose this place as it is away from the hustle and bustle of bangkok life. It was indeed a right choice and we had a lot of quiet couple time. There is a fishmarket located 1-2km away and we strolled there and we saw some awesome sunsets. There's also a huge and beautiful temple near the resort. The sunset viewed ftom the swimming pool is also speechless. The lack of wifi reception and only accessible at the lobby is a plus and minus for us. We could spend more time as a couple without the wifi. The only downside is the people at the counter don't speak English.

We spent two nights here after a lot of travelling around and really enjoyed it! The bungalow was simple but clean and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews - the lighting in the bungalow was rather dim but we were there to relax and so did not mind. The beach is not for swimming and looks pretty awful when the tide is out but sitting out on the deck in the evening was very beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was very simple but not bad and to have it brought to our bungalow was lovely. The pool was also very nice. The only real drawbacks were that not one person seemed to speak any English and there seemed to be no public transport (and nowhere to walk to) so we did cut our stay short by one night. However the Chinese temple over the road was absolutely stunning and a friendly local we met in Big Mouth 10 took us to see Monkey hill and the old fish market. All in all very satisfactory!

Cannot recommend this hotel. Usually I wonder about the motive of negative review writers, now I find myself writing one! Yes the hotel is in a secluded location, quiet and faces the sea but it is run down, ill equipted and lacking in any facilities. The rooms are small, sparse and in need of decoration. The single dripping tap - no hot water apart from electric shower - and broken toilet seat summed it up. The hotel lighting is so dim that you cannot read by it. The bamboo chairs on the balcony are so uncomfortable that you need to sit on pillows - no cushions! The swimming pool looks good until you realise there are no chairs or sunloungers? A closer examination reveals a dark scumline, murky water and a slimey bottom to the pool indicating poor pool maintenance. Breakfast is a joke! Tea, one fried egg, one warm frankfurter sausage and two slices of toast! Apart from this the hotel has no catering or guest facilities. The only food available within walking distance are the local seafood outlets.which after five days become very boring. I am from the UK and stayed for five days with my thai girlfriend, we both agree that this is one to avoid.

Nice resort with good sea view and sorrounded by Nature which makes this resort with maximum level of privacy.

Almost all the rooms are looking at sea and having a good swimming pool also. Very well maintained garden and swimming pool.

One can enjoy the stay but not the food as the hotel is not having a dedicated restaurant. Also you cannot go to the sea due to rocks in the beach. But you can still enjoy.

Hotel staff english is not so good.

Also, hotel is difficult to locate and be prepared for the same. Better to have hotel phone number and ask driver to contact and get the route.

When we booked our room we inquired about the "rollaway bed" that was available and never received a response. My husband, toddler and I arrived around 9pm on a Friday night; there was no rollaway bed in the room and the desk clerk didn't speak any english. I used a translation app to ask about the bed and the clerk finally called the owner. The owner said they did not have a rollaway, just a foldable mattress. Frankly, the mattress was fine for my daughter, it was just a hassle to try and figure all of this out on arrival with a sleeping toddler in tow.

The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked well. The mattress was too firm for our taste (and we generally prefer a firm mattress), but it was nice to have a king size bed. There were no wash cloths or hand towels. We had a lovely private deck which was great for staying out of the room while our daughter napped and went to bed early. The pool was clean and the temperature of the water was perfect!

The walkways were a little treacherous with a young walker, but in good repair with the exception of the block step that you take to get to the pool--it sits on top of a rock and more than once shifted unexpectedly. The little beach area was mostly well maintained but the takeout containers that littered the area were there from Friday night through our departure on Sunday. Otherwise, the resort was clean and lush; staff even cleaned the parking area, so it seemed odd that they didn't tidy the beach also. Seating in the pool area would be a nice touch.

Breakfast was included in our room rate, but was nothing to write home about. Both days we received one egg, two pieces of toast, "sausage" (like a hot dog), a few bites of watermelon and coffee or juice. Another guest told us there was a Thai breakfast but when we asked we were told there wasn't. We were also told that there wasn't any propane the second morning and that there wouldn't be any breakfast, but then it appeared a few minutes later. Breakfast was served on our porch, which was nice.

The area is really best accessed by car--we were without and taxis were pricey--but it is walkable, just quite hot.

Despite the few persnickety review, we really enjoyed the stay. Our room was right next to the pool, so we were actually able to dip our toes while my daughter napped instead of just sitting around on the internet. She loved all the plants, fish and statues; the staff even let her feed the fish. No one really spoke english, and aside from the discussion about the rollaway bed it wasn't a problem.

Side note: there's a lovely open-air seafood restaurant called Seamoon on the next street over--just walk to the beach and turn right!
