We stayed here for 5 weeks during the floods last year.Good value with large rooms clean .do not stay in rooms on the north side they are noisey due to the entertanmant on evenings from the next street.I can recomend,supermarket close by and sea 5 mins walk. Walk Street a must see is a 15 min walk .

Nice clean comfortable hotel at very good pricing for the surrounding tourist areas. Good seafood restaurant nearby. Hotel can arrange transport. Would definitely stay again when in the district while visiting relatives. Staff were helpful, unobtrusive and very polite.

always stay here cheap cheerful and in a quiet road also a very good laundry across the road. rooms a bit dated, most of staff smile except for 1 or 2. there is a cheap eatery across the road run by tim boutique hotel now called intimate hotel which serve cheap good quality food. I always get fried rice with chicken and 1 egg costs around 50B fills you up.

First thing I want to say is, I love Thailand and I love the Thai people, makmak. The woman that I am going to be speaking about is the only bad Thai person that I have met
We wanted to book accommodation for three people for a time two days hence...the concierge made us pay for the two days that we weren't going to stay there....whilst I was attempting to negotiate she spoke to her workmates and called me a name used to insult gay men in Thai without realising how much Thai I spoke.
Gross disrespect, and I was with my beautiful fiance.
I paid up anyway because I was tired...and dutifully paid everyday....one day though I gave the money to a person behind the desk that wasn't her...somehow this was not noted down and when I went to check out...though it hadn't been mentioned to me already...she bought it up despite it being several days old.
I will never stay at this place again and I recommend that noone else does either. I was disgusted. -

Staff: average, not that friendly
cleanliness: not clean (i'm not a picky person, but my friend is.... it bothers her that the wall was molding)

If you are on a budget and just want to stay a couple of nights with a good location. This is it.
Don't expect to receive 5 star service, because obviously you wouldn't get it. One of the staff was really an unhappy person, I requested for extra pillow and with a sour face, she told me no.(it was late, maybe she was tired)
I tried again the second night with a different lady, she gave me the pillow(score!).
The location is walking distance to the harbor, beach and also walking street.
FYI, i join a day tour(not from the hotel) that cost THB 1,400 per pax , it's on a speed boat, includes lunch and 2 water activities(i choose snorkeling and sea walk with that oxygen tank)
I think the market price is THB 1,800 per person but it was low season and I'm a good negotiator ;)
