Stayed after a seminar and very disappointed for the price. Bangsaen Villa is an old rundown hotel but next to a great seafood restaurant. The room was clean but many things broken and worn. Nighttime noise was a surprise. Towels were more gray than my hair. Much better accommodation for this price at hotels along Bangsaen beach.

My husband and I booked into the Nanachart for 5 days on the 15/10/11 and only stayed 1 night because of lack of many things. So then booked into the Bangsaen Villas which made our last 4 days a complete pleasure. The beds were comfortable unlike Nanachart, Breakfast was great so to was the services the staff could not have been more helpful.Very close to all amenities and transport would not hesitate to stay again. Never in my life that I felt so deceived this much by the hotel website and all its propagandas. The hotel is very old in everyway, though trying to look renovated. The promotion room on the website, 1050 THB per night, was one of the old love motel rooms built in around 1960's with the classice "car pak" on the first floor and the small, low-ceiling, tiny room on the second floor. The rooms were densed, old, stinky, dark, damp, and without ventilation. My friend and I suddenly asked to change to more expensive rooms (1520 THB) and we ended up at stinky, damp, dirty rooms (with stained bedsheet) in the front building. But at least they were not as compressed and dark as the previous ones. The bathroom stank so much that even we closed the door all night, the smell sneaked out. We later found a hotel sign on the other side of the street offering 2 rates, temporary and overnight. So sure it is a love motel...

The breakfast was so-so, with 2 choices of American set and traditional boiled rice set. Don't expect much from the quality and service.

Staff at the front desk were mixed. Some were very service minded and some were totally not.

The swimming pool was a small pond of dirty water. It was under renovation during our stay.

It was quite a shocking experience to stay at Bang Saen Villa.

This hotel has been run down
Used mainly for short term sex love motel superior rooms have room above car space
Very quiet hotel now as many other hotels cheaper, newer and closer to the main strip
Mosquitos in room
Very basic room so if you want a bit more luxury go for deluxe room
Noisy at night from motor cycle racing around streets
Drain gurgling and doors slamming from young teenage couples going in and out
2 prices for short term 2-3 hour or overnight stay
Everything written in thai
No English
Not many overseas tourists go to this hotel

Booked a superior room at the bang Saen villa these rooms are in the main section of the hotel. The delux rooms are in an annex area just outside we had a look at these first and did a quick turn round although no dirty nothing delux about them either. Used as short stay or for a private room for other activities. The main hotel has two floors the ground floor is a function area and mainly used as a discotheque . Breakfast is included what I thought was a restaurant is not the restaurant is across the road as some building works are on going this meant you walked through a tarpaulin tunnel to reach your breakfast. Went just once without doubt the worst breakfast I have ever been expected to wfindw palatable.fortunatly we only used it as a base as we where on a sight seeing holiday so only spent several of the 14 nights booked. It is right on the road where the young and not so young Thais use it as a speed track on motor scooters without exhausts on the up side it did for the most part kill the noise from the disco . No recommendation made for this hotel at 2000 Baht per night it is magenally cheeper than either the Heritage or the Tide Hotels had a look at these and regretted not having chose one of them at 2400 per night asked a couple of there guests about the restaurants and had good reports.
If you enjoy discos and stodge I forgot the wedding parties across the road that contributes to a sleepless night this is for You otherwise don't bother.

It's has a great location close to the seafront and all the main restaurants, cafes and bars of the resort. It has ample free car parking in a shaded area.
We stayed for 3 nights in a motel style villa. The room was clean, but shabby and in dire need of refurbishment . AC, wifi and tv were all good. The bathroom was clean, but water took several minutes to drain from the shower. We stayed with our young grandson for no extra charge, but they refused to give us even an extra towel for him.
There was a shabby pool at the side of the hotel, with no shaded areas or umbrellas to sit under, no bathing towels were on offer. The pool water was sandy and very murky.
Breakfast was included in the price. I made a mistake and ate an American style breakfast on one occasion which was very disappointing - under cooked eggs, fake ham , and cheap bread. The coffee was undrinkable. The Thai style breakfast was at least edible. They wanted to charge my 5 year old grandson 180 B for this, because he was not included in the room charge. Strangely the restaurant serves a very good seafood lunch and is in a superb location.
The staff were quite friendly but unable to do much without asking for orders from the manager. They have very little idea of customer service, not sure if they have had training in this.
I was disappointed overall and will not be coming back . I'm glad I paid a discounted price for the low season on weekdays. There must be better places to stay in Bang Saen. The resort is great but good accommodation difficult to find.

Good value for price paid. Surprisingly room was extremely spacious with sofa corner and big balcony with sea view, bed was confortable, check in & out was ok. Nice amenities in room, big fridge, small pool but well maintained. The area disappointed was the breakfast in front of the hotel, low quality and staff not very enthousiaste. Quiet area and a bit far from the main beach road where restaurants are located. Not easy to find motorbike around, if you find contact would be easier for you to move around and call motorbike to drop you around. Overall nice stay

It's a local small hotel, but the way they manage was like a motel.
The owner of the hotel is the same of PaKaRang Seafood Restaurant, so we had dinner in the restaurant. We see the advertisement of 10% discount of food for hotelguest, but when we paid, a waitress/captain said that there is no discount even we're the hotel guest. T-T

Then we had breakfast in the restaurant again.
There were not many kind of food, abd the taste was not satisfied.

Only 2 good things're location (central of Bangsean) and pet allowed.
