I traveled with a group of 6 on a safari. We stayed here for 2 nights before our trip, to relax and acclimate. The grounds are spacious and well-maintained. There are coffee trees between the reception area and the guest rooms. You can see monkeys playing in and around the trees. There is outdoor dining for the restaurant. There is...

Thank you for taking time to review Arusha Coffee Lodge on behalf of your group. We are so pleased that you enjoyed both the comfort of our rooms and our great restaurant. The Traders Walk visit seems to have been a highpoint for your group and hopefully you were all able to buy some lovely gifts to take home from...

We were basically thinking of this as just a waypoint or stopover between our late afternoon flight into Kilimanjaro Airport and our early start into Ndutu/Serengeti/Ngorongoro. What we found was a lovely facility laid out in a cozy resort style with great service.

I am so glad that we exceeded your expectations. Indeed you are correct, as a destination we offer so much more than a stopover lodge - many of our clients in fact do consider us to be more of a resort-style property. We hope you managed to take advantage of our varied facilities and especially Traders Walk. Hopefully on your...

Stayed here for one night before going on safari. The hotel is in the grounds of a coffee estate with bushes all around. The room was large and had a large bed with mosquito net all round. Excellent bathroom is a good size. Food was good and friendly service. good place to stay before going on safari

This is our second visit to the Arusha Coffee Lodge, and we were not disappointed. The hotel accommodations are lovely, clean, large, and just really nice. And, a great asset to your visit is the food; lunch was served outside, and your choices were enormous. The food was very good, including the fish, chicken, and the vegetables. I avoided the...

Arrived Kilimanjaro late evening. Transferred to Coffee Lodge for one night. Staff stayed up to greet and welcome us to the property. Room was comfortable, quiet and well-furnished. Breakfast was made to order; fresh fruit and juices while watching monkeys move across the building roofs. Did-diks in the gardens.

Stayed at the Arusha Coffee Lodge for one night before starting a week’s safari and stopped here for lunch on final day before going to Arusha Airport. Well-equipped cabins in attractive grounds. Clean and well maintained. Lunch and breakfast is buffet style. Dinner is à la carte from a limited but adequate menu. Food is very good. Staff are friendly...

Clean and luxurious room with nice bathroom. Food was nice. Service was great. We had a four poster bed and it was very comfy after a long time travelling. The water stopped working for a while but we think this was a problem out-with the control of the lodge as we got a hot shower the next day. We left...

Very nice lodge situated in the middle of a coffee plantation. Rooms are good although the water pressure in the shower was almost non existent. Service was mediocre at best in the restaurants with long wait times, unfriendly waiters and cold food. Shouldn't happen in an upscale lodge.

Dear Guenter Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We were really surprised and concerned to read your comments, as this is most certainly not our usual standard of service. Our warm welcome instantly made us feel at home. It is difficult to explain, this was our first day of the safari and normally it takes a couple of days to relax when we go on holiday, but not here.
