The price I thought was a bit expensive, but it is an oasis for those of us foreigners who get set upon by locals trying to make a buck. Thankfully, they are nice locals! (We took a stroll around the block) The good: Food was very good and ironicaly, I thought, quite in-expensive. Service was excellent from the all the...

Even though it's one of the oldest hotels in town, it's been refurbished and updated such that the old charm of the place shines through. The rooms are to a western standard and the beds come with a mosquito net even though I wasn't quite sure it was necessary. The coffee shop in the lobby is quite nice and most...

I was very impressed by the character and charm of this hotel, with its lush and well-tended gardens and colonial feel. The rooms are not luxurious, but comfortable. My biggest problem was the poor internet connection, despite being branded by the usually fast and reliable Raha name. I heard other guests saying they would not stay there again because of...
