This is quite a grand hotel in Arusha and our tour company took us here for a prepaid lunch on a gap between two flights. It is very modern and has lovely gardens and a pool. However it might seem grand but there were lots of strange things. We ordered lunch and the starters were good but the T bone...

The reception is very slow and takes ages to check in guests. The showers do not have shower curtains and are poorly designed. Not many choices for food. The views are very nice. There is a nice pool and a small gym. The beverages are good, but the cakes are not.

The rooms were okay and the hotel grounds are quite nice. The food was definitely not so great. Wont make you ill but not tasty. The buffet and pizza were what was open and the pizza was the better choice. The buffet is pretty basic local cuisine and not that well done. Geared to feed a herd of tourist. Price...

ARRIVED 4,30pm ish, after a long road trip from dar es salaam 3 rooms booked. On arrival, no collection of 3rd room, which had been paid for in advance. We as a client, had to go to the desk of the booking/reservation clerk, upstairs. They did not have the decency to come downstairs to speak to us at the front...

Being our first time on the African continent, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and found all your usual western luxuries including Pay TV, Free Wifi, Courtesy tray (Kettle for tea/coffee), Swimming pool, breakfast buffet etc. As mentioned by other reviewers, the bathtub design lets some rooms down as all the water run off from the...

Pleasant, friendly staff welcome you to this Arusha jewel. A hotel with a top shelf restaurant, a large patio overlooking manicured grounds that teem with bird life, and African floral gems. The hotel is well secured, has access to cars and drivers and boasts a large assortment of conference amenities. The pool adds a refreshing ambiance to a day in...

Mount Meru is a five star hotel with great food, rooms and outside pool. Did not get much of a chance to see off the compound but looks like a great place to see Arusha from. As this was our first night in Africa we were very happy to put up in such comfort.

Our group stayed here for 4 hours before our evening flight back to the US after traveling from near Ngorongoro crater. The room was clean and comfortable (AC was great!). The shower configuration does allow for water to escape onto the floor and the lighting in the bathroom is very dim. WIFI worked in the room.
