We stayed here two nights on our way to, and back from Ngorongoro National Park. Check in was an issue as we didn't get two connecting rooms but they did give us one big room (they told us charges are the same which I doubt). The staff is very very good. We love Jane the duty manager who made a...

We were able to relax and enjoy some much needed down time during our 5 weeks in Africa. Accommodations suited us well and would recommend this hotel for private or group travelers. It's a gated property that offers activities within the property.

The hotel is beautiful and clean with amazing views. We had our wedding at the garden (28.01.17) and it was amazing. So great full to Gerald Macharia and his excellent team (especially Grace Mawani, Jane, Godwin & Edith Mosha) for being so accommodating and making sure everything went as planned. Great Location, great staff highly recommended. Mr & Mrs Kileo

The hotel was pleasant and clean with excellent service and very convenient for Kilimanjaro airport and the start of our safari the next day from Arusha.unfortunately we were not here long enough to appreciate the lovely gardens and any other features.

Flew into Arusha a few days before the start of my safari with Globus Tours. It was a good idea to adjust to the long flight fom the USA and also adjust to the time change. The room, food and facilities were very nice and i enjoyed walking around the grounds and relaxing. Staff was excellent.

This was our first night in Tanzania and it was a very welcome stay. The staff couldn't do enough to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. Restaurant which served the evening meal and breakfast offered a very good choice. The bar overlooking the lake setting was lovely.

Having been the third Serena visited that week, was sorely disappointed in the service. They at first told us the hotel was full, but managed to find us a room once we said we were planning to stay a few nights. I think the manager was just lazy and didn't want to have the room cleaned last-minute as it was...

The grounds are beautiful. The black face monkeys are adorable. But it doesn't change the fact that the rooms are dated and the dinner was substandard [the breakfast was okay - nothing special]. The situation with the meals is not unique to this Serena property. Although the dinner at Ngorogoro Crater was better, it was sill mediocre. When you're paying...
