I stayed here 3 nights and then another night when we returned from our trip. Helen who works the kitchen is an amazing woman and chef. Unlike many other places I've stayed, she'll make sure to cook what you're craving that day and make it delicious. The rest of the staff are extremely friendly. One of the guys even walked... More

We were there for 2 nights. Peaceful setting once you get past the noise and construction of the highway at the door. Staff were friendly, helpful, and the garden setting was lovely, with a guest terrace that was comfortable and inviting. Helen, the chef, was warm, welcoming, spoke perfect English, and prepared delicious breakfasts and suppers.

Here is a kind of oasis. What to attact me much: the garden of the hotel. So green and has beautiful flowers. Christina who is owner of this hotel is so charming women and control everthing. Breakfast was also good. Tidy hotel and has big rooms. We were happy with our no mosquitoe-net beds.

Stayed one night. They were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was really good! Fruit, eggs, avocado, crepes, juice, drinks etc I think she was a little disappointed that we didn't eat more, but we were so full 😁 It's a bit out of the city but that suited us.

This has to be hands down the best place to stay in Arusha! Whenever I plan my next trip back to Africa, I will make a point to go back and stay here. I traveled to Tanzania with a group of 11 back in May 2016 and Christina's House was one the highlights of out entire trip. The staff treated... More

This was a first stop in East Africa and it was amazing. I stayed with my study abroad group and Mama Christina was wonderful. She cooked delicious, fresh and traditional food each night, every room was perfectly prepared with drinking water, clean amenities and comfortable beds. Mama Christina, along with the staff, made us feel right at home. She was... More

My colleague and I brought a group of graduate and undergraduate students here for the beginning of a three week Education Abroad program in East Africa. As an earlier reviewer noted, the architecture is fabulous. Clean, attractive and simple rooms with lots of little corners and lounge areas so that the group could spread out a bit. The wood tables... More

We stayed at Christina House at the beginning and end of a safari holiday. The house is set in a beautifully tended garden that has just enough of a jungle feel to make it seem much more secluded than it really is. Architecturally, the house is fabulous, with an open, first-floor area outside ensuite rooms accessed by an open, central... More
