We stayed one night here and were impressed when we walked in - it looks like an up-market hotel in the foyer. However, on being handed my key and told to use the mechanical key as the electronic one didn't work was the first warning things were going downhill. The room was quite barren with a portable airconditioner on the...

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night in July after doing safari in Tanzania. At the point of check in, no one informed us about the breakfast and dinner times or advised on the checkout time. The room was decent size, however it needed some TLC and so did the bathroom. There were two of us staying in the...

The hotel is very good for the 60$ that they ask for a room. Buffet breakfast was good, menu for evening meals as well. However as others have mentioned before you might have to wait a bit to get your meal. Opposite the hotel is a nice local restaurant for eating meat with french fries or banana for low prices....

Before getting to the hotel on our way from Dar es Salaam we made an order for dinner.....when we got to the hotel we went through a quick and well planned check in process for my family and the accompanying group. Later, we had dinner that went well beyond our expectations. Three days well spent in Arusha City with the...

For the second year in a row I brought groups of over 20 individuals for multiple night stays at SPH. In each year the groups were highly satisfied with the services, rooms and meals at the hotel. All staff worked together to make sure the needs of the individuals in the group were met in timely and professional manner. At...

We had dinner at this place. The lobby is beautiful however the staff was so unprofessional. They didn't even greet us as we entered. We ask where the restaurant is and the moody receptionist points in the direction without a word or eye contact. We brace ourselves and walk in and we are in shock as the restaurant looks tacky....

We have stayed in this hotel for an overnight on our way from Kilimanjaro airport to the Serengeti plains. The room is basic, but comfortable. The WIFI connection will simply not work and the simple breakfast will not make your mouth water (but will fill your belly).
