My partner and I stayed at Songata for two nights before and after a safari and we had a wonderful time. I would thoroughly recommend Songata: it was really peaceful and although slightly out of Arusha centre, it was perfect for us as we were being collected and dropped off for our safari anyway. We arranged our airport transfers with...

we arrived at night, It was dark and we were tired. We followed a lamp lit trail to our room and fell asleep. In the morning we were awakened first by the stirrings of animals and sounds of the jungle followed quickly by the beginnings of peoples days, walking to work or the market, school children heading to school. opening...

Mama Ray`s little paradise is like coming home. We enyoed the time very much! The food is the best in whole Arusha and it’s a really nice little “Restaurant” where you can sit, watch the stars at night and listen to all the interesting noises from the forest while eating. The rooms are very nice and lovely and if you...

Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay really nice. Raymond picked us up at the airport and shuttled us around to a myriad of shops in the busy markets. The property is comfortable and quiet. It is 10 minutes outside the traffic and noise of Arusha. Although we arrived late, Joyce had prepared a huge and excellent dinner which...

We had so much fun at Sangota Falls lodge. The food was so delicious and Mama Ray looked for us as their own children. The place is very silent and the rooms are very comfortable. And there is also a great view from this place. In January we will come back because we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Mama...

Stayed two nights here after a camping safari to refresh before heading home. I was traveling alone, but Joyce never let me feel that way - I was part of the family, and as she kept telling me "you are on your vacation, this is your home". It sure felt like it, with delicious home cooking (and meals on my...

We organised a safari trip from Switzerland but unfortunately, because of a car accident, our guide wasn't at the airport to pick us up at 2 am in the night. We arrived at 3.30 at the Sogota Falls in a rainy night, Joyce didn't know we were coming but she was amazing! she welcomed us very warmly and she called...
