We had so much fun at Sangota Falls lodge. The food was so delicious and Mama Ray looked for us as their own children. The place is very silent and the rooms are very comfortable. And there is also a great view from this place. In January we will come back because we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Mama... More

Joice the owner is very warm and kind. She and her son helped us with arrangments in Arusha. The rooms are very intimate and clean. there is plenty hot water in the shower. there is a laundry service with at a reasonable price. If you feel like going to a walk there is a near by waterfall. Stayed two nights here after a camping safari to refresh before heading home. I was traveling alone, but Joyce never let me feel that way - I was part of the family, and as she kept telling me "you are on your vacation, this is your home". It sure felt like it, with delicious home cooking (and meals on my... More

We organised a safari trip from Switzerland but unfortunately, because of a car accident, our guide wasn't at the airport to pick us up at 2 am in the night. We arrived at 3.30 at the Sogota Falls in a rainy night, Joyce didn't know we were coming but she was amazing! she welcomed us very warmly and she called... More

We stayed three nights in Sangota Falls lodge and we were very sad to leave. The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. You have a nice view on the jungle and you can walk to a small but nice waterfall in 15 minutes. We even ate there thanks to Sangota who organized everything for us. You're located at 10-15 minutes... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Songota Falls where Joyce, the owner, spoiled us with her tasty and excellent meals. We also loved the walking tour experiencing the every day life of the neighboring villages.

This place is a nice little getaway up in the mountains outside of Arusha. It is a little far from town but well worth the peace and quiet. Joyce was incredibly helpful and a wonderful cook! The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The bathrooms are nothing fancy so don't expect too much there. But the views are spectacular and... More

I have been at Songotafalls Lodge now many times and when I come back again, there is no doubt that this is going to be my first choice. The view to the waterfall is stunning, the hospitality is like an African RitzCarltonHotel, because Joyce anticipates your wishes, before you have said something. But the best of all is the food:... Charming cottages with wonderful views of a valley with waterfalls nearby. The food was delicious, and our host Joyce was a most interesting person, with an inspiring life story. Her gift shop has the best bargains of the whole trip. We took a walking trip to a coffee plantation and watched as the ground and roasted the coffee. A lovely... More

Joyce the owner is a great hostess and cook. Her son Raymond gave us an interesting tour of the local neighborhood and coffee tasting. I would stay here again. It was clean, safe and had a beautiful view of the valley. Beautiful natural surroundings.
