A friend and I spent two nights at the African Tulip (November 2015) and were very pleased. Our reservation had been messed up but the front desk quickly corrected it so that we had a room with two beds. The room was huge and, in effect, two separate rooms. The only recommendation is that one room didn't have bedside tables...

I stayed at the African Tulip with my parents before and After our Safari which was organized by Swala Safari. TheHotel was ideally located close to Swala Safari. It is a very nice Hotel located in a calm street away from the noise of Arusha's street, with a beautiful swimming Pool to chill. The room are spacious and spot clean,...

Brilliant hotel. We stayed here as our last stop as we returned from Serengeti. The manager, Anuj Sharma was brilliant and he ensured we got the best service as we were super tired. He organised superb indian food for us. Room were great and service impeccable. Definitely brilliant.

My husband and I stayed two nights at The African Tulip prior to our departure on a 10 day safari. The staff at this small boutique hotel were attentive and helpful. The rooms quiet and well-maintained. After a long flight, we had two very restful nights. Our dining experience was equally pleasant. Breakfast included a selection of hot/cold dishes, cheeses,...

I stayed here pre and post a honeymoon safari trip and the service was above and beyond our expectations. The manager was so nice and helpful. Even when we were checking out we couldn't find my husband's Blackberry and the staff combed the room and called the phone until we found it. There was also a driver around the hotel...

The African Tulip is a small boutique hotel with many amenities and incredible customer service. This was my third stay at the hotel. It is consistently pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean, with just the right amount of African decor, a great shower and tub, and amazing air conditioning both in the rooms and public spaces. The pool area...

The room was very comfortable and clean and in a decent area of town. Slept so well on the bed, but maybe that was due to coming back from the bush and having a nice shower. Good food, nice bar. The staff were friendly, although I did see some staff that appeared to be management being rude to other workers....
