We stayed here before starting our Northern Circuit Safari. It provided a quiet base to recover from the overnight journey from the UK. The staff were friendly and the pool was a good place to swim and unwind. Our room on the ground floor was not so impressive being rather dark. There are possibly better rooms elsewhere in the Hotel....

I've stayed here twice and will return. The rooms are large and the bathrooms, great. The toilets don't always flush fully but we soon learned this is common throughout many places in Tanzania. The staff was always attentive and nice. We came in with muddy shoes from a day trip hike and they immediately offered to clean them at no...

We stayed here for a total of 6 hours, but it was excellent. We got in past midnight due to a late flight into Kilimanjaro then drove to the hotel. We left at 7am the next morning for our safari! But, I can see why this is the top rated hotel. Beautiful rooms and common areas, extremely nice people, lovely...

I would highly recommend the African Tulip & looking forward to staying there again very soon. The hotel is a boutique hotel, with an exquisite interior, it's clean, homely & warm. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. Apart from the high standard of the hotel itself, I was most impressed by the friendly & enthusiastic staff & management (Mr Anuj...

After our long journey, this was the perfect location to recuperate for one night before we headed to Tarangire National Park to begin our safari. The friendly greeting with pineapple - mango juice cocktail and warm cloth along with the wonderful hospitality was excellent! The manager was very attentive to make sure we were pleased with every aspect of our...

Thank you so much the staff at African Tulip for your love and care.Your hospitality is excellent. I stayed there for three days and I was overwhelmed by the cleanliness of your rooms and the bathrooms. Keep the standards up. For those traveling to Arusha I strongly recommend this hotel. Me and my family we enjoyed so much.

A delightful oasis of calm with spacious rooms and a certain "colonial" charm. I stayed for 4 nights while working nearby and felt pampered and refreshed by the delightful and ever-helpful staff. A spacious bedroom (really comfortable double bed) and bathroom spotlessly clean with all mid cons, including solid room-safe and excellent wifi (for which there is a modest charge). The...

My colleague and I organized a group visit to Arusha for a work conference and the 12-person delegation stayed in individual rooms at the hotel. We worked with Anuj (Manager) to coordinate the large reservation and his personal attention and customer service was outstanding. He was attentive to our needs and made checking-in and checking-out seamless. We also dined in...
