We are from the US and traveled to Arusha to climb Kili and Sarafi. The staff performance was comparable to an expectation of staff from 5 star hotels in the US. Staff were always readily available and willing to help with anything from carrying luggage to room service to printing our COVID test results- you name it- they helped us with it. And everyone was ever so polite and professional. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with a faux boaboa tree greeting you in the lobby to the dark wood trim and deep red and orange fabric hues and the back garden and pool area was inviting as a lush tropical getaway. It was an jewel nestled within the busy and rumpled city. It was our oasis after long days on acclimatization hikes and between our kili hike (yes-we made it to the top!) and safaris. Stayed a total of 4 nights during our trip and they knew us by name around the 2nd night stay.

Stayed here upon arrival into Tanzania. Very nice, very clean hotel with typical in room amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive. Grounds are pretty. Buffet breakfast in the Baobob restaurant was delicious. It was a great start to our Safari!

We stayed at this lovely property for two nights at the beginning of our safari, and then for one day in a "day room" at the end, prior to our flight home. The staff is uniformly helpful, welcoming and friendly. The downstairs facilities are very attractive, and the food was really good. The two rooms we stayed in were adequate. They were clean and spacious, but could really benefit from a bit more attention in the decorating, as they looked pretty spartan. The property is quiet and safe.

Ww stayed here for 2 nights at the bookends of our safari. This hotel is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and their staff are friendly, attentive and very obliging. The manger is always around making sure everything is to your satisfaction. We stayed in a suite both times and both were tastefully decorated and well appointed. One suite had a balcony, which was a perfect place to sit outside and relax with a beverage. There is water in the room for both drinking and brushing teeth, and the staff come around in the afternoon with more water. This charming boutique hotel offers you a luxurious stay, excellent food in their restautant and service that is excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay African tulip Hotel.
