This is a very good place to stay if you want something on a budget, but also want something privat. The rooms are very nice, clean, have a tv (with HBO) and a nice private bathroom. The staff is very helpful. It is located right in the city center, which was very good.

It is clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast is simple but good. It is 2 blocks from the bus station, not far from the Clock Tower. Plenty places to eat and shop in the neighborhood, although it is not advised to walk around much in the evening. Best to take a taxi. The staff is very friendly. I can just...

Affordable, nice and clean place. Decided to stay here the night before and after our safari. Both times we showed up without reserving and got rooms without problem. Room are really clean and there is even hot water in showers. We had to pay the locals price only which was a nice surprise. They price the single room at 25usd...

Located centrally in Arusha, this hotel is very convenient, although noise from the street and nearby mosques can be disturbing. The noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms can also be an issue. Free, simple breakfast. No other meals available. The hotel is clean. Staff barely speak English. No internet access.

Hotels in Aurusha tend to be expensive. Prices at the Flamingo are fair although I would call it more a guest house than a hotel. Very clean although the bedroom furniture was well used. My room did not have a tv , a bracket was on the wall, although only channel seemed to be Aljazeera News. Breakfast was minimalist and...

Good hotel in the centre of Arusha. I came here to relax after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. The shower and the beds are perfect. Rooms are quite spacious and really clean. Good atmosphere, nice people. Breakfast included: the usual toast, jam, tea and fresh fruit.

We loved this hotel in the center of Arusha. The people there were kind, the food was good, and the rooms were very nice. The area around the hotel is not the most touristy part of Arusha, and we enjoyed walking around there in the afternoon. This hotel proved an excellent jumping off point for our trip to the Serengeti...

Very nice place, good price. This hotel is comfortable, very clean and the street is quiet…even if it's a simple place for backpackers. Bertha was the more smiling person we ever met, she was very helpful and to helped us finding a good safari and kili company. Don't hesitate to go there and you can bargain the price.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was incredibly kind and the breakfast of eggs, toast and fruit was delicious. The hotel was conveniently located with restaurants and shops nearby for anything you need. Of course, that means that it's right in the heart of Arusha Town, so it's loud.

Wonderful gem of a hotel in centre of Arusha. Friendly helpful staff with good advice on safari tours. Basic but very clean rooms and sofa area with good quality bedding, mosquito nets and decent hot showers. The area has a nice local feel with good cheap places to eat. Free decent breakfast of toast with eggs, jam, honey and fruit...
