The Hotel Flamingo was a good stopover in Arusha; safe, close to amenities and comfortable beds. It was walking distance to food, shopping & money exchange. Easy to get to for our bus and the staff were very helpful & courteous.
Me and my friend stayed for several nights in hotel flamingo in between a safari and trekking. Very helpfull friendly staff, especially the manager who arranged several times transport for us. Decent and clean rooms and simple breakfast for a really good price. Located near the…
Every time I'm in Arusha, I stay at Flamingo. The rooms are clean, comfortable and simple. Rooms facing the street have balconies- you may have more noise from the street but at night the neighborhood is pretty quiet. I usually fall back to sleep after the morning call to…

This is a very good place to stay if you want something on a budget, but also want something privat. The rooms are very nice, clean, have a tv (with HBO) and a nice private bathroom. The staff is very helpful. It is located right in the city center, which was very good.
"I suppose the further away from the Mosque, the better, but I think there is no escape from the call to prayer anywhere in Arusha..."
"The wifi doesn't work on the second floor"
"Choose a room facing the street, then you will have access to a private balcony."
"Rooms on 1th and 2nd floor are cooler and quite"
"It is very close to a few mosques so if you go during Ramadan (as we did), prepare for early morning prayers called out (although this is city-wide and has nothing to do with the hotel itself)"
