Great room, nicely sealed screen windows. Cafe restaurant was amazing, very good local and Indian dishes. Although I think newly arrived guests should get a friendly verbal reminder to keep the noise down during the night as window shutters are not soundproof. Staff were really terrific.

We stayed here before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. I was thrilled to have a hot shower and a comfortable bed (think it was a foam mattress). As earlier reviews mentioned, the rooster is still there so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Wifi is only available at the restaurant, which has a nice mix of Chinese, Indian,...

We stayed here for 3 separate nights at 2 different rooms, pre and post Kilimanjaro and safari. The first impression was that the compound was full of beautiful, lush greenery and enthusiastic bell hops who grabbed our luggages most efficiently and carried them off to our rooms. We tipped them 1USD per luggage per person on the first day but...

I had a great three-night stay at Outpost Lodge. I was travelling alone but had a huge room with three very comfortable beds and a really big bathroom with a fantastic hot shower. The room had a safe, tea/coffee making facilities and was cleaned every day. The complimentary buffet breakfast included fresh fruit, tea/coffee, juice, toast, pancakes and a guy...

My wife and I stayed here either side of our Kilimanjaro trek. Initially it was just a brief overnight stay before heading to the national park in the morning but then for two nights following the hike as we happened to finish a day early. I need to point out that the restaurant is separate to the hotel. Hotel: Firstly,...

We stayed here for one night prior to our climb and one night after. It was organised through our operator Team Kilimanjaro. Overall a great little property. The rooms were spacious and clean - including mosquito nets on the bed. The showers always had hot water. Pretty landscaping around the buildings. They stored our bags for us while we trekked...

Loved our nights here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. Rooms are clean and big. Hot showers and tented beds. Staff is outstanding. Emmanuel in the bar was awesome! Also was able to store bags with them while hiking and get our boots cleaned upon return. Great food at the restaurant and a nice pool to relax by. Would stay again!

The Outpost is a quiet peaceful haven not far from the hustle of downtown Arusha. Staff are friendly and the service is efficient. Have stayed here a few times now and always look forward to my return.

We stayed here before and after our safari. The Outpost Lodge is a pleasant and quiet place in the busy city of Arusha. Good place to wash off the dust that you collect on your safari. The German biologist Grzimek used to live here, which gives it a special feel, but the house must have changed a lot. You don't...

We stayed here for one night before our safari started. We arrived quite late around 8pm. The room was quite spacious with everything you need for a night’s stay. The bed was good and comfy. Shower had hot water. Was clean and tidy. As we arrived late we ate at the hotel’s restaurant which was very enjoyable. Food was tasty...
