I stayed at the Outpost Lodge in Arusha before and after our Kilimanjaro hike and also before and after our safari! The hotel is nice - there is a pool but we were there when it was a little cooler out and so we did not use it at all. A nice patio area outside around the pool with chairs,...

This is standard, basic accommodation, with pleasant and helpful staff. Didn't have a great deal of hot water. Bathroom floor tiles are very slippy upon stepping out of the shower. However, given our trip was an 8 day Kilimanjaro trek it seemed like luxury upon return from the mountain! Food was surprisingly good. I would describe as value for money....

We spent two nights, before and after our safari, at the outpost lodge. Staff is friendly, rooms are very clean and luxurious. The breakfast buffet is nice. The restaurant is pleasant (around the swimming pool). This is an excellent value that I highly recommend.

My mum and I stayed here for 3 nights and the food is so delicious! The smimmingpool is small but clean (for African standerds). The rooms are ok, clean and the bathroom is nice with 'real stones'. We have had a good stay here and the staff is very friendly.

I feel this lodge is a bit too run down for their prices. The shower is hilarious to say the least, the faucet got so hot we had trouble turning it off. The hot-cold combination was more like a murder mystery that needed to be solved, the tv was the size of probably a big tablet and the mosquito nets...

Close to the city, but still quiet enough to feel like a bit of a break. Relax by the pool, enjoy excellent (if sometimes terribly slow) meals, and keep an eye out for monkeys! Recommended as a pre- or post- Kilimanjaro option.

Outpost Lodge is centrally located in Arusha, less than one kilometer from the Clock Tower, along a quiet street. We stayed there for one night before our Camping Safari began. The street was dark in the evening, so we did not venture outside. Our room was well appointed. The skylight allowed sunlight in, which is a nice touch. Running hot...

I spent 2 nights the Outpost Lodge last month before and after a safari. The hotel is located in the middle of a busy town but you would never know it as it is very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are well maintained and clean and the staff are very attentive and helpful. There is no wi-fi in the rooms...

The staff were all so friendly and helpful (not that we every had any issues). we ate at the restuarant at every meal time and the food was great - especially...

We stayed at the Outpost Lodge on 2 different days in June. The staff is friendly but not smothering. The first time we were in A5, a large room with 2 double beds, and a large bathroom too. It was quiet, although my friend did hear some dogs barking at night, it did not keep her up. Unfortunately, despite following...
