Very good location and even better service. Sam goes above and beyond to help you and is very welcoming. The common room is comfortable, spacious and includes couches, chairs and a TV. An easy place to socialize with other guests. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. A nice breakfast available. Laundry service is offered. If you are traveling Kaohsiung...

This hostel is very comfy, only 500NTD a night, and situated very close to Central Park in Kaoshung. We loved this hostel for those reasons, and also because the communal area was well maintained and tidy. Good atmosphere too! Good service, free breakfast, and good showers! Sam (owner) speaks fluent English, as does the maid.

Great hostel, nice facilities, excellent beds (own lights, etc). Rigght in the city center. The owner speaks a perfect english and is really helpful, very caring (sometimes even a bit over present maybe?), so you'll like checking in the hostel, and staying there couple of days. Wouldn't call the hostel cheap, but worthing it.

Lives up to it's name, being cozy and the owner, Sam was very friendly. I had a bit of trouble finding it, so just be reminded it's on the 8th floor. Breakfast is provided for and it's location next to central park station makes going around easy. I would definitely recommend this to solo travelers.

Clean, cozy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even provided a free breakfast of toast and jam AND a free laundry service! Brilliant. Not far from the metro line and convenient for shops and restaurants. Great value for money.

I would say more than anything .. the people that run this are great. I'd gone to another hostel at the first in the lonely planet that had closed down and i was pretty happy they had a space here. It's clean and basic. The bed was comfy and the wifi was great.

The moment we entered the door on the 6th floor, my friends and I were shocked at how beautiful and comfortable this hostel was. It was so comfy in fact that we seriously considered changing our entire itinerary just so we can spend more time in Kaohshiung and in our hostel area. Sam, the owner, is one of the friendliest...

Once we got there, at the 8th floor, we found a closed door. We called the numbers and rang the bell four times as we heard some noise from the inside. The guy on the phone just told us to piss off, and didn't want to talk to us, as we had no room yet! We found the hotel on...

It was the second time I visited Kaohsiung, and I chose this hostel again for its perfect location (just in the city center and less than 10 minutes walk from metro station) and cozy atmosphere. Owner Sam was super friendly, he introduced the rooftop area with stunning view of the whole downtown to us. We love it! A budget choice...

This place exceeded our expectations. Sam (the owner slash receptionist) was the most friendly local we met in kaohsiung. He helped us booked High Speed Train tickets to Taipei and he even helped us get a Shuttle to roam around the city. We got two dorm rooms and it felt like we rented a private house for ourselves. I hope...

“If you're travelling as a big group (I was with my family, totalling 8 people), consider booking an entire apartment (the one we stayed in fit 10 guests). We did this based on Lulu's recommendation and although we paid a little more, it provided more comfort. Good luck!”

“If you have zero tolerance towards a bit of TV sound or people's chattering, you probably shouldn't book a private room as the common area is right outside.”
