Arie lagoon, negombo. A super relaxing environment, delicious foods, and friendly staff- made our holiday more and more fantastic. Highly recommended this place for a relaxing holiday with beautiful environment.
We had a very relaxing staying at Arie lagoon. The Hotel with a lovely ambience located in midst of a great Environmental surrounding specially with the lagoon view.It was a great stay which did not regret even for a moment.Specially we all enjoyed the delicious buffet spread with variety of seafood.Next thing I liked about the hotel was the rooms which was very spacious and very clean.Overall the whole hotel is well maintained and tidy. The staff are very friendly and very supportive.Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable stay for families and friends. You will not regret even for a second. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The hotel has several nice views and many areas to relax looking at the lagoon. There was a solar vehicle to take us from the reception to room area. The rooms are spacious clean and tidy. We had a room with a private open area. The bathrooms are so nice and wash room is open to the air. Buffet is good too.
Beautiful venue and Fantastic food! Definitely the two key elements that should drive you to pick the place, but the service standards appear to have dropped quite a bit and can dampen the overall experience a bit. We had a number of experiences around the two tiny bottles of water in the room finishing even before we got a few hours into the visit and replacement was refused unless at a cost, A/C not working in the room and having to move rooms (1 out of 5), coffee not being served after the meal (self-service now) and the pool table being refused after a number of very misleading instructions around using it. Staff were definitely polite, but possibly not very clearly guided on how to convey the hotel policies/decisions. Times are tough and I’m sure the hotel is not running at its full capacity, BUT ppl are also selecting venues to travel amidst challenging economic conditions, so they do deserve the best the hotel could offer. Overall still a very good place to visit, but do hope the management could make note of these small matters, which will raise the standard well above the norms of the industry.…
Splendid hotel, less than a half hour's drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport; ideal to begin or end your itinerary. The rooms are spaced out, large, clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Property has two pools, gym, table tennis etc. Staff were very helpful and always went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were taken care of. Full board or half board recommended as food was excellent and dining area was quite packed, especially on or about the weekend. Will definitely be back when we visit SL next time.
It is the best place for a stay with exquisite staff service. If you plan to arrange any type of function, vacation stay, or a day out, this is an ideal place to choose. I should thank Mr. Saranga (Front Desk), Mr. Anuruddha (Food and Beverages), Ms. Harshi ( Finance Division), and all other staff members for providing the ever best service beyond their potentials. Visit once.. you’ll prefer to visit again!
Looking at previous reviews I had to check I was in the same hotel. It has the potential to be so much better. It feels like a hotel that has come out of lockdown and is struggling. Ok, let’s start with the good stuff. Location is great as a first or last hotel as close to the airport. The grounds are lovely and very well tended. The room is spacious and clean, with a large comfortable bed and good air conditioning. There are 2 swimming pools, both good. The decking around the main pool is in a poor state of repair. Wear flip-flops at all times. I got a 2 inch splinter in my big toe. 15 minutes with our own first aid kit sorted that. The spa is not open. They will point you to their sister hotel a couple of doors down. My wife wanted a pedicure and nails painted which reception were incapable of organising. We walked over ourselves and found they didn’t paint nails. Half an hour of our lives we will not get back. The gym is quite well equipped for a small gym. However, there was no water available and only a small towel to wipe down with. I have never been in a gym with no water. Of course, I went and got my own but this is indicative of the issues we found. First day here and no towels available around the pool. 20 minutes later and they managed to find some. Second day we asked for an umbrella, the sun is baking hot. Only 2 umbrellas and they were both broken. They put my sun lounger under a tree but I am not sure what others would have done had they asked for an umbrella. The food is pretty average and I found it strange we couldn’t have Sri Lankan curry in the evening- only available 12.30-3. It also took 25 minutes for me to get my first beer of the evening because one poor guy was running around making cocktails and nobody else seemed willing or able to assist him. There were other small niggles that are indicate of a need for better staff training. As in all Sri Lanka the people are wonderful. In this hotel the decking needs maintenance and there needs to be better management and training.…

We went to Arie lagoon for the new year. We stayed in a family room and it was so clean and comfortable. The room services were very punctual. They also served us with a variety of delicious foods in the buffet. Also for the new year they held a new year festival with a lots of fun games and all the visitors had such a good time. Would definitely recommend the hotel for everyone to spend their holiday.
